  • Review | The Lounge

    Hello Everyone,

This will be my first real post here, I have been more of a lurker. Although tonight Lisa said I needed to start posting and saying hello. So HELLO! Tonight I decided to drive down to Mississauga and check out The Lounge located at 1280 Dundas street east (in the basement of Diamond's Caberet). First of all, the place was easy to find, right off the major roads, and not too far from the highway. Easy to spot for someone who is not familiar with the area (like me), and has tons of free parking. The entrance to the lounge was also easy to find as well, as it was a well lit large marked side door. Also fairly discreet if you are worried, as there is parking at both the side and the rear. That and lots of patrons going into Diamonds at the front door. As you go inside, there is a large stairway that takes you downstairs, and you effortlessly find yourself in "The Lounge" area of the building. When I first read it was in the basement of a strip club, I thought it sounded a little shady, but I was actually quite surprised how naturally it fit within as its own unique space. Once downstairs, I paid cover (25 bulks, a little pricey) was asked if I would like a drink, and found myself a seat at an open table. There was actually a lot of open tables as the place was not too busy (which was a good thing). There were about a dozen small tables set around the stage, where either a sexy TGirl was dancing, or there was a TGirl porn playing on the screen at the back of the stage.

Enough with the building however. Like I said earlier, the place was not very busy, however this meant that the lady : gent ratio was on my side. The other patrons were generally older chaps (unlike myself at 24) and everyone seemed to be there for the same reason. In between songs, the girls would come out to chat it up with the patrons, as ask if anyone wanted lap dances. I must tell you that this was my first time at a strip club, Tgirl club or otherwise. From what I know it seemed typical of the strip club routine. Due to the low patron population though, there were plenty of girls to keep us gents company. For some reason the girls would leave the area while another was performing, and come back again when the song ended. I found this a little strange, but I guess they just wanted each girl to get their proper appreciation, and time in the spot light. As the girls came around, which was between every song, they sat and chatted. They were not pushy about getting you into a lap dance, although it was the expected conversation as, you come here much? what brings you here tonight?

While the girls were performing, everyone seemed very pleased by what they saw. The girls were very attractive, and knew how to show off their assets. I must say that Lisa Paradise (HI LISA!) gave quite the show. All the girls however did a great job, and left many a hard cock lingering in the room.

I did not have a lot of time to spend at the club, as I work long hours, and my day starts at 6am. I had never been to a tgirl club before, or ever been with a tgirl either (not to say there have not been many of girls that had the time of their lives with me) so I knew I had to get a lap dance. The first girl who had come to chat with me, and came over again later was little flip girl named Kitty http://www.ladyplus.com/pic/kitty3.jpg . I must say that by this picture I would probably not recognize her in person. She looks good in the picture and all, but in person she looked amazing. She was toight!

Well, I hope that was not too detailed and boring. Hope it seems helpful to anyone wondering about taking a trip to the lounge. For someone like me it was a definite great first experience. I will definitely be making an appointment for an in call once I find the right girl.

    Cheers,
    Solum

I may be completely off base here and correct me if I'm wrong, but I wouldnt be saying those things in public if I were you. Be discrete. Use the pm function. Unlike Goodhandys which is a private sex club I dont think this kind of activity is legal at the Lounge. Dont want to get Amanda, the girls, and yourself in trouble do you

Posted Edited, hope this still gives an impression of the lounge, and the fact that it was a good time.

You certainly have the right to post a review about a club experience. What's all this false modesty about what goes on at the lounge when you can just visit the goodhandys site (run by the same people) and see explicit photography (with the right parts blanked out) in their online gallery and publicized in online club posters. That's not exactly keeping a low profile and if they don't care, why should anyone else?

Goodhandys Diamond Room is a private membership based club. The lounge is a licensed bar. Big difference.

So they shouldn't be offering those types of services in a bar? Well, tell it to the judge.

No offense, but are you all so naive that you think that the cops don't know what's going on at the various sex clubs around town?

It doesn't take a genious to figure it out.

Thing is, unless there are complaints, the cops are not going to do anything about it (and rightfully so).

Don't forget, prostitution is legal in Canada in the form of an outcall only. Incalls, bawdy houses, street walking, etc. are very much still against the law. If the cops wanted to get pissy about it, they could bust down the doors at the Lounge, Goodhandy's et al and arrest everyone in there. (Don't kid yourself they can.) But given that it would require cops to work undercover at above said institutions prior to said raid gathering evidence, and it is doubtful that you could convince too many cops to do this, even if they were gay, odds are good that this is not going to happen.

It would be interesting to see what the reaction of the gay community would be. If a bath house or gay strip club were ever raided in such a way, the gays would go insane like they did 20 years ago. (Queer Culture and what not). I bet that they would be relatively silent if the cops raided a tgirl establisment and I doubt that very many tgirl patrons would make too much noise either (being married and such, they'd just rather not go there.)

Agreed. I was trying to make the point that illicit activity is common knowledge and if the LE wanted to bust things up, it would have already happened.

Your arguments make an interesting case.

                          Re: Review | The Lounge

I've searched high and low for reviews of The Lounge and there really aren't many (the initial post here is the most detailed one I've ever seen).

If I understand this thread and what I've read here, The Lounge, is a bar, and because it is...it operates under a different set of rules than Goodhandy's (which is a private club, but still serves alcohol and many of the same women work both places).

You can get private VIP dances at The Lounge, for $20. Are the dances in a private area or just at your table? Since going into detail sounds like it isn't advised, be honest - Are they worth the $20? For those of you that go - how much cash do you drop in a visit? $100? $200? More?

If a guy, like myself for instance, was a curious "newbie", would he be better off going to The Lounge or to Goodhandys? I'm going to be in town starting Tuesday night the 11th, and they are having and "I Love Sex" party that night, which sounds like fun, but I'm afraid it could be a little overwhelming - or are voyeurs welcome too?

                          Zeke

                            Re: Review | The Lounge

From another newbie who hypothetically might have experienced the lounge, it is similar to any strip club here except they are special girls. There is a private area you go to for dances, if you can call it private. As to whether its worth the $20 a song, I would say that depends on how many songs it takes for you to accomplish your expectations. Keep in mind it also costs $25 just to get in. In my opinion, if you are just curious and want to visually experience special girls, spend the $25, if you want more, than spend the $, do research, pick a girl, and experience it in a quiet really private atmosphere 1 on 1.

The atmosphere's of both clubs are likely to be quite contrary, so it largely depends on your own personal views. I have never been to the Lounge, but venture to Goodhandy's many times. Understandably, the lounge is similar to that of a strip club and that does not suit my character as I do not enjoy those type of places as much as the regular guy. Goodhandy's which is the complete opposite to a strip club will give you the opportunity to speak with the girls on a personal level in a very open environment. You may find that you much rather enjoy a personal conversation with a t-girl as opposed to a sexually deemed encounter you would find at a strip club. The entrance fee is slightly cheaper at Goodhandy's, but you cannot get some of the comforts that the Lounge provides. You pick your battles, I chose mine.
