Cost of Hobbling out of Control

COVID has impacted all of us significantly but it appears the ladies are trying to recoup their losses over the past 18 months in one swoop. Over the past few weeks we have witnessed a significant jump in rates. What was $150-200 for 30 min is now $250-$300. Hourly are now minimum of $300, but most are pushing the $400 plus threshold. My disposable sure is not jumping, so I will probably be forced to view from a distance. I certainly understand the provider wanting to maximize her income but am concerned the market can only bear so much & many hobbyists will be left behind. What used to be once a month encounter is now once a quarter at best. Enjoy while it lasts.

For any that are price gouging like that let's just not see them... all of us! That's their attitude anyway... "if you can't afford me then don't bother"... our collective response should be "ok". We control the demand.

Actually non of the top girls have increased their prices as far as I can tell. That’s why the top girls are still at the top and in demand. I never paid attention to those rip off artists anyway. To hell with them. I know for example Maya Lafayette charges $1000 😀and that’s her only rate. I don’t think anyone even looked at her ad. 😂

A market is a market is a market. Prices have been high for far longer than the past few weeks. Not much change within the established SP demographic, in terms of rate increases. However, the non-established, 'just visiting' types that have an ad up for months, but are still visiting, are all over the place with rates . . . and photos for that matter. Remember that hobbyists need SP's and SP' invariably need clients. If hobbyists get left behind, then SP's will soon follow, and the smart ones know this. If you're an SP and you don't understand this dynamic, then you're not a factor anyways. For you this is not a business, it's a spectator sport. Just sit back, relax, and watch others stack billz.

I’m trying to think back to what year I was comfortable paying $300hr and I’m going to say around 2013/2014. And I paid that to a visiting girl.

I NEVER thought I’d pay that, but I did.

Back then our girls were charging $200hr/$250HR and $150HHR. Now some girls are charging 350 to 400.

While I am a believer in letting the providers charge what they wish, it certainly prices me out of the market. $400-500 per hour (!) is my take home income for 2 to 2.5 days of 8 hour work per day. That amount is 6 weeks of groceries, 2 months worth of gasoline to get to and from work, 4-5 months of my internet bill, 4-5 months of my Hydro costs. I well appreciate that the cost of maintaining their looks, transitioning, maintaining a decent place to host clients can be pricey. But at these rates, not something I can afford as an average working Joe.

Truck you seem to be angry about this... I agree with a lot of what you are saying but respectfully I disagree on your point that a girl should not determine the value of her service. I believe there are 2 things to consider when you see prices. Perceived value and market.

Perceived Value: You have a say in the value (salary) of your service to your employer. You can ask for a raise... If the employer disagrees you can quit and go work somewhere that will pay your price. Or you can take what your employer is willing to pay. The job market will determine the price/value of your service.

Same goes with these girls... If a girl over values her service people will not see her. She either lowers her price, finds another source of income (see market) or quits all together.

Market: For these girls the market landscape has changed. They can now make money elsewhere like selling content on Onlyfans. I bet Maya and others, like Kylie (Karma), make enough money on Onlyfans they really don't need our cash. So they increase the price of their service if some guy really wants to pay... so be it. If they need cash they will lower their price, work until they get the cash, then increase the price again.

Will I pay $1000 an hour of Maya's time? No. Do I get upset she is charging that much? No. I just find a provider I like in my budget. There are lots of good girls around the $300 price point for me to see. Yes for what it is worth the $300/hr range is my budget.

I am not looking to pick a fight. I am just respectfully adding to the conversation.
