  • Tranny chaser

Over the past 2 and a half years i have come too meet and know a few t girls but the one thing that bothers me is the term "tranny chaser". On the one end I've been told it's a positive statement but on the other I've also been told it's unfavorable.

With all sincerity could someone please define what it means to be this? I am not joking as I'd really like to know. There are individuals on this forum as also not on this forum who prefer the companionship of these ladies and just getting to know them personally as opposed to anything else. In turn wouldn't it be more proper to say "T Woman Supporter" or something to that effect?

Just a thought in the hopes to bring up discussion.

i think people look too much into detail when it comes to language.
cougar for example to some women is seen as being a predator. presenting an animalistic untamed nature. but then for others its just a common term for a women who likes younger guys.
even shemale can be controversial. some see it as a way to disassociate transsexual women from being connected to the term 'female' but others embrace that and see it as a way to explain our difference amongst GG's.
all in all as i've said before, identity is personal and independant. if you dont feel comfortable with the term tranny chaser then go with what does.
always do what makes you happy.

Nevaeh is right. But it is also on both sides when it comes to terms.

I have been kicked out of chatrooms for my name “ShemaleTasha”. Most Trans girls away from the sex trade see is as a “porn term” they find it offending and insulting. Most really get very upset being called “Shemale” or even “Tranny” try calling them a ladyboy and there nails break off from typing so much. It is silly to get so worked up over a term. Unless they call you “Dude” “Man” “CD” “Transvestite” then really who cares. It is about how you see yourself that matters.

Side note, most of the ones that get the most upset are the ones who could never pass as a woman. Or do not have the balls to live as a woman. It sounds rude, but it is true. When looking at there profiles when entering a chatroom. I can always tell who will start to bitch about me being so open that I am a sex worker and into porn. In each case it is always them, I come in, the guys start getting worked up because of my profile which normal shows boobs. Within 2 minutes, no word of a lie, they start bitching about my name and how I am giving all Transsexuals a bad name. I am telling you, every time! I either get kicked because they all report me or I just leave because you can not enjoy yourself because they become relentless in there attack of me. It is only because of there own insecurity and jealousy.

As for the term “Tranny Chaser” it is used more by us girls as a term towards guys who have been with a lot of Tranny's. Most guys do not care what we call them as long as we call them. Others who want more then sex find it offending to be put in that group. I can understand that and see why they would be upset. If that term is used to tell a girl about a guy, sometimes us girls will prejudge the guy based on that term.

It really is up to you what you wish to call yourself. I am a woman. Simple. I will use the terms “shemale” “transsexual” and “T-Girl” for working use and if I am looking to be seen as that. In my everyday life, I am a woman. Not all girls agree and wish to be known by there life choice, but for me, my sex is no ones business. How I wish to present myself should be up to me. I do not wish to be in a cookie cutter term because I am not your average “girl”.

Tranny chaser is a slightly derogatory phrase which does refer to those guys who tend to want to date Tgirls mainly. Perhaps the same as a "Ladies Man" or a "Dog". However it is generally a reference to a tgirl lover who sleeps around, but not necessarily.

In Thailand this is known as a "Butterfly" when a guy chases or dates many girls. However in Thailand they don't really differentiate as much between tgirls and girls, as they are more accepting there.

The more polite term is "TGirl Admirer". However some may say such a thing does not exist that they are only Gay. (Writings of Barbie come to mind).

The other thing I have observed is, that if you are called a "Tranny Chaser" by tgirls that probably means they probably wouldn't respect you as a true male dating candidate, since this means you are probably not seen as a "Straight Guy" even if you think you are. However if you are hot they may give you some time.

However if you have ever had the pleasure of seeing a tgirl working her magic on MSN, you will know that they are Man chasers far worse than any guy out there that is considered a Tranny Chaser. Men are truly the prey, specifically hot straight men that are not interested in them.

Shame. It's just a shame that even in today's age people like to label.

I used to be nieve when it came to thos phrases 'tranny chaser' 'shemale' etc. Even know some girls that would have a stroke if they were called 'tranny'. But the last few years I've learnt I just don't care. I live my life they way I want. Shit happens sometimes it takes a better person to just walk away. Honestly I don't care I have more important things to concern myself with then call people names.

Tasha you speak the truth , I agree.

now I'm on hiatus till April but had to chime in. Like the oh childhood saying "sticks and stones will break my bones, but NAMES will never hurt me.".

My life since high school & University , I have always enjoyed the friendship of women of every age, I appreciate their charm ,personality & beauty ,I just love women and spent most of my time enjoying their company, whether its a dinner , theatre ,just drinks ,phone call its an endless list hmm even some sex loll

How do some of my world of people in contact with me, judge & whisper about me & think of me,.in these terms,: Womanizer, Ladies Man" ,come to mind,.

In my short time in the transgender life, ,I see little difference , a woman is a woman, the only thing that's male about the transgender women I have spent time with is ,they happens to have a penis !!!

so what ever type of name calling, people use to label you or them

are terms they use to judge another person in life.

some are jealous, some envious, so just mean and like to gossip,
,most live their fantasy through you, if the truth were told,

I lose no sleep worrying about what they think, but its sad ,when I know of all my other accomplishments in this world, successful business career, philanthropy .

My believe is "what goes around comes around "and do on to others as they would treat you.
soi what they call me , I cant change that, it is the flaw of the humane mind, male and female
drive on, hardly worth your time ,you can not change them, why bother trying

              .Duke
I believe that sex is one of the most beautiful, natural, wholesome things that money can buy

                  ...

Thank you everyone for the input because in all honesty I really had no clue what it meant. After all this time I had heard this title being used in many places I've visited in Toronto and always tried to get an explanation but no one would try and tell me what it meant.

Sometimes it was used so nonchalantly between friends/acquaintances that I thought nothing of it but then later after heading to a bar/pub I'd hear a few people get into an argument and the way they used the term you'd have felt and thought it was like the end of the world was on its way.

I'm very thankful that I've met and chatted with some great ladies and each occasion was pleasant.

Normally I'd state more on beliefs, respect , dignity , the golden rule and all that but we all know about these terms and the varying degrees each represent to everyone.

This time around I just wanted to know what the term meant. I got the info and I'll make sure to never use it let alone hope no one gets placed in a dark light by it.

That's great but what is the definition of a "Tranny Chaser" where do you draw the line?
It they only like "Real Shemales" then what are they called?
Are a Tranny and a Shemale the same thing or not?

It's the same line as between a shemale and a non shemale pretty damn fuzzy to me.

Plus Male Strippers aren't much of an example,
they are more Gay than straight I would say.

If it wasn't for "tranny chasers" a lot of girls here would have to find new ways to put food on the table. Unfortunate that some individuals forget that.
