I do not particularly like the designation suggested for such persons (eunuch), but that is a matter of semantics. What is important is that legal recognition of the gender has been recommended by the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the Gender has actually been recognized in India, where such individuals are legally entitled to be registered as "Other" rather than Male or Female.
