  • The Rocky Horror Picture Show

So this is a multi post for my appreciation for this classic. Did anyone have the opportunity to indulge in the episode Glee did this year for Halloween? I just actually got around to watching it yesterday evening. I have to say I was very pleased with their take on the songs. I believe they kept true to the original songs a best a television show could being viewed by teenagers. John Stamos has recently joined the Glee cast and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by his singing abilities. Here are the songs taken on by the casts. Glee versions of course!

Now for the second part of my post. I have been reading online that there is talks of a updated version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It will be done by the creator of Glee. I have to say I am kind of excited about this. I am truly a fan and shall be waiting anxiously.

I love the movie and Glee was awesome. Curious to see if the remake could top the classic.

It's not that bad of a show. There are times I find myself fast forwarding through some of it though LOL

Well first off, you look really sweet in your avatar picture, like a dream girl. But I dont really like any of the shows you mentioned. In regards to sitcoms let me check my dvd collection...How about the complete Flintstones series, All in the Family series(with Archie Bunker the bigot),The Munsters series, Addam's Family series,Twighlight Zone series, Beavis and Butthead, Brady bunch, Partridge Family, Looney tunes, The Incredible Hulk, What's Happening, Happy Days, Dinosaurs, Alf, etc.

I love The Addams Family but my all time favorite would have to be The Munsters!!! I have both the Munsters and The Addams Family on dvd...

They are great, I watch an episode per lunch and late night snack.(and half of a dvd movie for supper, other half next day). The colorised pilot episode for The Munsters looks excellent and i'm surprised all of the episodes were not colorised, including Addam's Family. Those dvd sets should include both black and white and color versions, but that would mean double the discs or double sided.

I always luved The Munsters much more but when I finally got the Addams Family series on dvd(as well as The Munsters) I realised Addams Family is almost as great as Munsters, perhaps Munsters is a 10 and Addams is a 9. Both are so ahead of their time, Lurch being a zombie butler working for a weird family and Munsters are practically a zombie family, well close to it and both families just want a place to stay and be treated with respect and equality just like all the normal neighbors on the block, like a 1960's version of the 2006 Fido movie of familys in a neighborhood who have zombies as servants and pets.

Coming back to the original point of the thread, I got a huge kick out of them using Barry Bostwick and MeatLoaf as the TV hacks!
