I agree Ray, because what most of these photos show is actually not a tan but art work. It is painted on by an airbrush artist just before the shoots are done ! I'd be willing to bet that the tan itself is painted on too. Some tans are just too perfect.

A real tan is one thing but there is no way that any person could be tanned with tan lines so crisp and sharply defined! Every time one tans the suit and the straps etc. are going to be in slightly different positions so that even if the same suit is used each time, the edges of the tan lines will be somewhat blurred, and definitely not crisply defined.

The diference between that tan line art and tatoos is that the tan lines will come off in the shower.
