T Girls/Shemales not accepted in society.

When this was written I had just read of another attack on a tgirl in some small mid western city in the US.

After a few years I can not sit here and deny that a few things have happened on and offline regarding t girls but I can say that not too much has happened about worldwide acceptance of t girls. Sure sure. Some of these ladies are in the arts or politics or sports but as of yet I don't see them freely blending in with society being accepted amongst the general populous.

I think I mentioned this in another thread but cities like Toronto, Tokyo, Rio et al have areas where they can live freely without disturbance but I guarantee you if they stray away from such safe havens they'll get ridiculed or even be physically attacked very harshly.

In today's even in todays age enough for someone like myself an averga caucasian to walk say down a street in south central Los Angeles knowing that I still may be approached with abuse. I can just imagine a t girl trying to be themselves in say a place like Raleigh, North Carolina ( its just an example) the heart of many radical religious movements. If a guy or girl says "Well screw them. Why go to a place where I'm not wanted?" That's not the point. The point it you should not have to limit yourself as to what you can say or do.

A big question thats been lingering around which seems like forever is "How can t girls be accepted?" I'm sure many people would say education but with most things in life education can only go so far. Personally speaking I say by exhibiting actions. People tend to respond to things when they see things being done.

Pride week is fantastic in regards to changing the views of others but why stop there? Elect more political officials, allow all sports leagues to have these ladies play where they wish , portray ladies on tv or in film in powerful roles .

Well I don't really give a rats ass myself..

I go everywhere and do everything I want to do. I go to what ever club I want, hang out where I like, shop where I want, etc..

I don't care if some people don't accept me, well over 50% do accept me for who I am. Where I live is a fairly small city too, only about 80k people here, so lots of them know that I'm a working girl too. I go out with confidence, I'm proud of who I am and I don't care what people think about it..

Everyone that's trans needs to do the same thing. It's not easy and some days the dirty looks do hurt. Some times you need to deal with assholes too. All we can do (tgirls and tboys) is grin and bear it, be happy and do what makes us happy..

I'm out there too, I MC shows, perform and market myself. I try to educate people to about the trans community and trans people. We're different than the gay community in many ways. The only way we'll be more accepted is by educating people that don't know or have the wrong idea about trans people..

I doubt in my lifetime that any of us will see a 100% accepting society in any way shape or form, be racial, sexual or otherwise..

Yet we must strive to reach this goal as a race eventually..

It's hard, tgirls and transgenders in movies are mostly portrayed in a joking manner. If there were more movies that showed them in a more accepting light, perhaps thing would change.

it's funny how they are pretty much the last to be accepted from society. The Gay population has come a long way and most people are comfortable pretty much everywhere. It would be great for the same for tgirls and tboys.

Obviously there are a lot of men who find tgirls attractive, but I'm sure most have to hide this as it isn't accepted, why it isn't I don't know.

DID U KNOW, its actually ILLEGAL to discriminate against a certain gender, whether the gender is male, female or a fusion of the two. People who bash on transgenders or who are prejudice against them would be no different than if a bunch of men bashed on women because they were female or a person of a different race. This is NO DIFFERENT than the KKK days of the 1940's or 50's when a certain race was bashed on or treated differently. Imagine if women were not accepted in society or were not hired for a job or were bashed on because they were female, there would be world wide law suits filed by women and the entire police force would track down the women bashers and bring them to justice. Well the police force should do the exact same thing if transgender women are being bashed on or discriminated agianst. Time to file lawsuits trannies if society fucs with ya. A good way to prove possible bashing or harrassment would be to be armed with a small videocamera on your own person recording onto a small digital device or harddrive recorder to catch the predators in the act if in fact this does happen to you. Its just a thought, but maby ya should act on it.

I was walking home from a wonderful dinner with my Tgirl friend. Next thing I new these kids drove by calling her some names like shemale,freak and man.Then shot us both with paintball guns then quickly drove off. I think the kids were at the restaurant we ate as earlier and spotted us. She is super passible but who knows. I was just happy we didn't really get shot. While I agree with the sentiment Rantsalot, there is an error in your logic. If you want TGs to be free and accepted, you must grant the same privilege to everyone else. Some of those people do not accept TGs. That is just the way it is. All you can do is continue to lead by example, to be brave and show your true face, and to be free. Things will change when they change. Ask questions when you see an injustice - speak up and bring intolerance out into the light.

You are up against religion. You are up against culture. You are up against people who don't know any better. You are up against people who think that what they like is good and anything different is bad. What are you going to do about that?

In certain countries its only legal to become a transgender if they undergo reassignment surgery to become a complete woman. In fact in such countries gays are actually put to death for engaging in anal sex. What do you propose to do about it? There's nothing to be done except to be yourself and go about your life in as sane a way as you can. Other people will have to sort things out for themselves.
