Come visit Winnipeg!

How come Winnipeg can get the Rolling Stones, U2, the Eagles, Elton John, a new football stadium and best of all an NHL team but very few tgirls come by for a visit? Please anyone answer but most of all I'd like to hear it straight from the tgirls themselves.

Almost any city can get those bands nowadays.
Even cirque du soleil goes anywhere now.
Most tgirls aren't much into hockey or football.

Winnipeg is limited in size and isn't really near anything.
If they are going to fly there from Toronto, they may as well continue on to Calgary.
Calgary is close to Edmonton and the rest of alberta, not to mention Saskatchewan and Vancouver a short flight.
Places to advertise for working girls are limited in Winnipeg too.

Shopping is so so and, the transgender friendly nightlife is next to nil.
Another contributing factor is the frickin' cold weather.

Put all this together and it is not tgirl friendly there.
Most tgirls from Winnipeg will most likely move off to Toronto at the first opportunity.

Very Simple: Those Bands and Sports you mentioned can handle the overhead costs and possible loses better then a tgirl. Travel expenses to winnipeg are high, factor in most of the points that Crag mentioned and it's easier to target GTA, Montreal, Ottawa in a group and Edmonton, Calgary and Vancover in a group. Unfortunately, Manitoba and Sask. tend to be left out.

Thank you for your replies. What all you say makes sense. I guess you would have to be quite certain that you would be very busy while you were in Winnipeg as a smart business approach. Is there any way to do that? I know pre-booking would seemed to be a strategy but I'm guessing that not all pre-bookings are a guarantee unless they pre-paid. Bibiane made it work, and I'm sure others have, so there is hope. And by the way Bibiane I must have missed the advertising of you going to Winnipeg otherwise I would have been delighted to have met up with you. Next time.
