Well pointed out Fantasia , This "7 questions with Bailey Jay actually" actually became an incredibly popular and actually helpful video. I'm pretty sure it was first done via WeHappyTrans.com. I remember finding this when I was doing research in Gender studies In Grad school, specifically looking at Transgender identity and the use of the word "trans" to help break the binary of language control on how one defines gender. Trans has the power to be perceived as Trans- formational, Trans-istional ... basically, suggesting that one can always and is always in a state of Trans even if one does not identity as "Trans" . If anyone really wants to get into some deeeep thought, Gender identity studies becomes so radically awesome when one combines it with those crazy and brilliant French Theorists Deleuze & Guatarri ( see A Thousand Plateaus especially ch 10 on Becoming ) Basically, seeing Trans as a state of "becoming" elaborates on Judith Butler's famous arguments ( really the beginning point of Queer Theory and Trans Theory even though Butler is classified as Feminist) about gender being performative ( not volunteerism), and language being a defining mode of "being" as it categorizes ones identity makeup.. In other words, one is labelled Male" and "female" very much because we use the words male and female to define between two supposedly opposite sexes. ( it's kind of a positive view on Orwellian thought control, where limiting or reducing the language, by way of adopting a more inclusive term, actually helps breaks established cisnormative and oppressive ideologies). getting into the "biological sex/gender" is probably worthy of it's own thread.... in fact, has that been talked about here? maybe i'll start it... but then again, maybe i'll get told to shut up and quit being pedantic, lol.

Why did I bring up Bailey Jay ?? oh yea, well through this video, she was actually able to connect with many gender questioning youths, and as a "porn star" ( from 4chan as linetrap to Harley Quinn to finally Bailey Jay Granger) who has a very high report with that demographic, allowing access to her personal side was a very kewl move for her to do. Her radio show can be funny, but I wouldn't say a lot of scholarly "mana" comes out of that. Anyway, once again I've rambled..... So i'll leave it there... this all could be construed as annoying... I'm well aware, lol

... very True, I think Lucy Bisset is especially sexier and many others on S- Can are much prettier than Bailey ( and she's a bit of a pain) I only meant that she was finally doing something with her fame for the Trans community.. which is good and I respect it. but well put my West Coast friend, well put.
