is passable offensive?

was thinking something... do TSs think the term "passable" is offensive?

I'm not a TS, so maybe my view is not relevant, but isn't the point of transition to be passable? Surely the more passable one is, the closer they are to their goal?

I don't think it's offensive..

It would be great to be passable..

I'm not there yet tho.. Most people figure it out pretty quick..

Those of us that aren't 100% passable deal with the brunt of the discrimination..

We also get the majority of the smiles too..

Girls that are passable blend in and don't get attention for being a ts.. not as much..

Being more passable is really good for business too from what I gather..

Although in a club I might get hit on first by a guy looking for a ts as I'm obviously a shemale..

The passable girls just look like the other girls to the guys..

I'm not sure I'll ever make it to where I thin I'm 100% passable..

I don't think I really want to either tho.. I like me..

Depends what stage you are at...

Call a CD passable and she will worship the ground you walk on.
Call certain girls passable and you might get slapped.

I think for occasional CDs it is a compliment and for TS/TGs in the early stages of their transition as being accepted and viewed as a woman in everyday life is a big step. Others who may not have the feminine features to "pass" as a woman but nonetheless view themselves and live their lives as a trans woman may find this term offensive. Just as there are a broad range of biological women from Butt-assed ugly! To Drop Dead Gorgeous!... and from butch tomboys to super-fem girly girls so too is there the same range with TS/TG women .
