Oh well, seeing as we are wayyyy off track, now, with "Dunk a shane", i may as well post Pagliacco (Recitar! Vesti La Giubba.) from Pagliacci, as well.
It's the story of a traveling operatic road show of clowns which performs satirical (operatic) plays about cheating spouses.
It's all fun and games on stage until a cast member tells Canio (Pagliacco) that his wife Nedda (Columbina) was seen in the arms of another man off stage. When Canio sees them with his own eyes he becomes enraged with jealousy, and in his grief he cries as he gets ready to go on stage because the show must go on.
So he sings "Laugh, you are not a man! You are Pagliacco, the clown."
