This is not about your protection. As you said, the information is safe in your head. But what if you decide to write a book? Or other media that could expose these people. This is not about protecting us, but about protecting the client.

Plus, if you have no desire to reveal information, what difference does signing something like this make? If it puts the client at ease, so be it...no?

Also, the information in your head is not safe. In Canada you cannot plead the fifth, and Withholding Information is a crime. With a Confid Agreement, you can withhold information. The cigarette companies have used this practice for years...
