The large hotels have on premise detectives and security and they basically have the authority of police on their own property.
Also staying in a private type residence doesn't give them permission to bust right in, private property has different rules than the public property.

Usually there is not trouble but as soon as there is problems, things change.
There was couple nasty incidents with TS escorts in Calgary that changed the way all the big hotels look at tgirls.
I suspect some similar incidents happened in Regina to open their eyes.

The person can try all she wants to get you ousted, it won't work.

One precaution I highly recommend when working anywhere in Saskatchewan is to push the prospective client to talk about the sexual things he wants to do with you. I normally avoid this but in Saskatchewan where the police is actively working to stop you, this is a highly effective preventive measure. The police do not want to talk about sex. They'll ask: Where are you located? How much do you charge? Can I come over? When you push for sex talk, they will balk and refuse to answer your questions. That's your signal to hang up and make a note of the phone number. Sure, you might lose a few clients who are too shy to talk about sex but it's a small price to pay for your safety. This way, you don't need to be scared. If you have a doubt about a caller, hang up and move on to the next one.

Regina is a great place to work. Clients are generous and do not balk at a rate of 300 for an hour, which is a reasonable rate for an escort in my opinion. I was very busy during my stay here. Interesting comment about the Ramada, I hadn't heard of this happening there. The latest incident happened at the Quality Hotel (an oxymoron if there ever was one) which I had previously heard was "safe". And yes, this us something that is happening to GG's as well.

It seems strange to me that visiting girls get busted but local girls do not. The hotel problem theory doesn't explain the wholesale difficulty almost any traveling girl has encountered. I was caught myself two years ago. They told me to leave town and never come back. My theory is that a local girl has found a sympathetic ear with LE and calls in complaints about visiting girls.
