I am torn on facial surgery. I think it is very beneficial to those that need to femininize their face (not everyone who is transitioning has a wonderful beautiful feminine face when they start), but with escorts and porn stars, some seem to not stop the train once they get moving. It starts out looking great, but instead of stopping ,they keep having more to the point it starts to look absurd.

Plastic surgery is a slippery slope if the person doesn't know when to stop.

It makes me somewhat sad when a gorgeous women still feels the need to slice her face up. Say what we want about Jenna Jameson, but she had a gorgeous face before she started chopping it up. I see so many really beautiful women in their 30s and 40s around town and at pubs and bars that have had facial surgery that is very noticeable and does NOT look good. I understand needing it as a transgendered person and wanting to feminize your face, but someone needs to say "you got it right, now stop".

I happen to know a shemale who is under the knife all the time it seems. I can understand making changes to look feminine, but many it seems go waaaay overboard. It's almost like an addiction. The results are often not good at all, but it seems they don't see it that way. A tweek here and there as one ages I guess is ok, but often it goes way beyond that which is sad.

I'm not a doctor or psychiatrist, but it sounds like an anorexic who only views a fat person in the mirror even though he/she is terribly skinny. I wonder how many transgender girls have this mental perception of themselves, and how it evolved in their lives?
