General Comments: My stay was very good. There were little issues I can count on one hand with the room (only one roll of TP no backup ..i started with about a 1/2 roll- but if you ask you get more) more towels. The shower is messy but great. It had a goofy shower head but I swapped it with the shower in the tub. My room was on the top (8th) floor right in the corner so the view was limited of the ocean (its the one in there photos on the hotel website where you see the lighthouse with the ocean in the background. Its the Beach Deluxe Sea View Room the marble tiles and such. In the end with the mini bar and the taxes it cost about 89 CDN a night... was not cheapest but one of the nicer ones along beach road. The room was pretty deluxe and very nicely laid out . It had a seating area and sofa and chair, nice workstation, very cozy big king bed that could take the action, and a window between the bathroom and bed... all glass wall actually, with a venetian blind on the bedroom side ;-)...Veiw of the thunderstorms was great from the balcony. I really enjoyed the room. The staff at the desk were ok. The boss lady asked many times about a good rating; and reminded us about how nice she was to let my LB guests in... funny shit. But no issues. There are cheaper places in Pat's to rent... view taly 6 is cheaper and has (for now) an ocean view angle... But for a full service deluxe stay expect to pay a bit more..by the way, with the exchange its 65 USD, if your american lucky you. Good deal. The location was pretty good. Motorbike taxi on the corner and many baht bus's ... Big C at the other end of the soi, and the other end of the soi was also the drop off spot for your ride back from walking street area.
