depends how soon you do it before you get fucked.......if it's too long, like several hours, it defeats the purpose, since you cannot stop your digestive system, and your colon will gather shit soon enough.

I don’t think cameeindios meant that douching should be done 2-3 hours before being topped but that 2-3 hours is more likely the acceptable outer limit to the initiation of anal activity after cleansing. In your example, your coworker should have gone home first, completed a proper douche just before he leaves to see his topper because there is no way of forecasting when our digestive system is going to move things along and push it down into it's storage area (i.e. the rectum), thus spoiling the experience for both parties!

The best practice then would be to try to have douching completed as near as possible to the time anal play will be attempted. Even doing so can not guaranty that there be no mess, though in general it will be probably be OK. because that is the window between a clean colon and not.

if one douches, and even if you don't eat, the colon will still get shit in it, then moving into the rectum which obviously receives the cock.

It's too bad nine out of 10 guys don't bother to take this advice apparently. I used to top as an upsell only, but now I just don't do it at all.
