My gf and I are searching for the best anal lube.
What works best for you and why?
Where do I find it?
If you are just starting out Silicone Lube is by far the slipperiest.
Sometimes I find it too slippery and if you have some on your hands it is almost impossible to turn a door knob.
You can't uses to much or you may find quite a loss of feeling due to no friction, however if you are a virgin or not experienced then you probably want to start with the best.
Silicone lube is not water soluble so it lasts for a long time which is good and bad.
If you are waiting for it to wear out it may take a long time and I have actually had to wipe some off.
Water based lubes are not nearly as effective but clean up better, you can also get blends of water based and silicone.
The problem with Silicone lubes is they are usually quite expensive. Brands like Astroglide is popular for silicone but I think most brands are pretty much the same. Generally you can only find it at sex shops but I noticed a couple years ago Shoppers drug mart started selling cheaper brands of silicone lube, up to half the price. They have pure silicone or silicone/waterbased mix.
All lubes are generally non toxic. Silicone lube is moisturizing for the skin and will not hurt you if you ingest any.
My understanding is the silicone lube is essentially the same no matter the brand.
Gun Oil and Astroglide tended to be quite expensive but not sure if Astroglide is cheaper now it is available everywhere.
Many kinds at shoppers probably cheaper than sex shops for the same brands.
I found the 'LUX' lubricant was just as good as any silicone lube and half the price but only available at shoppers drug mart i think.
one kind is pure silicone and the other 'DUO' is half silicone and half water base. I kind of like the second one as it is not too slippery.

Gun Oil is a very highly rated lube, but it's also the priciest.
I tried a similar product called Swiss Navy silicone yesterday, worked great, $10 less for the same result.
plus it has a neat pump on top for squirting a little right on the best spot
A lot of people react to silicon based lube. Maybe it lasts longer but I have never really felt safe putting silicon inside of me. Longer lasting also means harder to get rid of afterwards. Unlike water based lubes, silicon does not wash away as fast.
My lube of choice, hypoallergenic, water based, feels like real.... ID lube. If I could get a sponsorship I would.

Ha Ha, you should approach the makers do ID with a sponsorship proposal; pro athletes get contracts to promote products, why not pro escorts?

This is true, the GF spend more time in the shower afterwards; we've gone to using water based Astroglide or GunOil inside her [with a lube laucher], and silicone topically on her sphincter & on junior. Works great
