I've loved trans women for almost 10 years now, I think I might now prefer them to regular women.
But when I was in elementary school I used to go to my friends house every day after school bc his mom would babysit me. We spent alot of time together and idk how/when it started but we had alot if gay experiences together. I didn't think it was weird at all bc I would also have some experiences with a girl that lived by my house and when I was alone with her I'd have urges that she would be okay with.
