Just read some sad news yesterday, apparently Sasha has passed away. Not sure of the details but very unfortunate. I’ve meet her at Goodhandys a few times. Never did anything more than just talk.

She was a friend of my best friend. First time I met her at my friend's party, talked with her for some time. Was very intelligent, elegant, a very lovely trans woman. I understand after her SRS surgery she had a number of difficulties in her life, She will be sorely missed in the community

Just to dispel any potentially brewing rumours about her passing...

I spoke with a friend of hers today. Sasha had checked herself into a Toronto hospital for an unknown reason. She told a friend of hers she will be out in a few days. Shortly after checking into the hospital, she passed away. So it appears she died from a pre-existing medical condition, not an addiction related issue, nor violence nor suicide.

She will be missed by those who knew her.

Very sad to hear this. I met her a couple times before, exchanged numbers, chatted for a bit after. Very kind, sweet, intelligent and gorgeous lady. She will be missed. 😢
