Hi all!!! Guys, I just recently bought a huge container at an auction in which I soon discovered a working mini-motor boat. I was very impressed with this find. BUT I have a question...can I use it or do I have to register it?

A licence or registration is mandatory for all pleasure craft equipped with motors of 10 horsepower (7.5 kilowatts) or more, including personal watercraft, which are principally maintained or operated in Canada.

All Canadians are now required by federal law to carry a boating license when operating a powered water craft. To receive this boat operator license, you must pass a multiple choice exam with a score of at least 75%.
