  • Tasha Jones Passes

I wasn't sure what to put here about the passing of my good friend Tasha Jones.
It came rather unexpectedly but of natural causes, from what I understand.

I had not seen Tasha for some time but she had settled down back out east some time ago.
We had a row a few years ago when Tasha started a website called tgirl-forums.com.
Regardless Tasha was very passionate about tgirl forums from the beginning and was very involved over the years.
This is part of the reason I thought to say something here.

The thing I will say about Tasha is she was very upbeat every time I saw here with a very positive attitude.
Sure she could be dramatic and opinionated but who of us isn't really. We had our issues but always got over it.
She was in the adult industry way before I even started and she owned and ran many websites over the years.
If there was some Trans event or enterprise, she was most often involved.

More than anything Tasha was caring and helpful. She would help anyone and many times did me favours, even if it was just talking. Tasha was great to talk to also and I spent many hours talking with her on the phone, as we never lived close.

I first met Tasha in 2000 and she was the second model I ever shot for Shemale Yum.
She was one of the first profiles on Shemale Canada in 2002 and maintained a profile since.
So for almost 20 years she was a part of my life, she is already missed.

This is a picture from the last time I saw her.
    RIP Tasha

It was of natural causes. It was to do with her heart. She had had a stroke on a heart attack not to long ago. I know she went into cardiac arrest and the could not revive her. Myself and Tasha were close and good friends. Are friendship took time I had initially started doing cam shows on her site when she was hosting them on Gia Darling & Allanah Star?s sites as well back 13-15 years ago. Like any relationship there?s ups and does but with me and Tasha there was never deep rooted animosity or mean things done behind each others backs like most friendships I have had with trans women. Nobody is perfect and no person is free of sin. I will really miss Tasha a lot. We had great conversations and had a high level of respect for one another. If we had an issue we were always comfortable voicing it. I spoke to her a few days before her passing and what was only supposed to be a few minutes turned into almost an hour. This just seems so unreal to me. I knew she had health concerns but I had spoke to her the day of her passing and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Anyhow I?ve attached two photos of myself and Tasha the last two times we had spent together.

            So sad

No!!!!!!!! I love Tasha. She was always a very open and warm person. Whenever we ran into each other at Goodhandy's she always gave me a warm hug. She will be greatly missed.

Sad indeed. I meet her a very long time ago at one of the very first shemale night party on College St W.

She was very nice, didn't know her to well but would often see a post, tweet or something.

              May she rest in peace.

I first met Tasha back in the 90's she was bartender for Mandy and her first trans club in the east end of Danforth ave.
Her, Mandy & Cougar Kimmy were the were the hottest tans girls in the city. It was a time when transsexuals were truly underground.
I Met Tasha many times and followed her everywhere. cam shows blogs, radio shows. I loved she always had something on her mind. Speaking many opinions.
Seems we lose far too many amazing Trans women way to early. So very sad.
I'm sure Tasha touch many in the community. RIP Tasha

I first met Tasha when she lived in London, Ontario. Must have been 15 years or so ago. She did so much to pave the way for other girls and was a pioneer in so many ways. She battled health issues for years and unfortunately it didn't surprise me when I read her husband's post to announce that she had passed away. Wherever she is now I hope that she is pain free.

RIP Tasha. I had the pleasure of meeting her several years ago. Very sweet girl. I'm a little confused though. xbiz and avn reported that Tasha was 35 Years Old at the time of her death. Steven Grooby said she first appeared with Grooby Productions in 1999. That means Tasha was 16 years old then. That can't be right can it?

I did my second shoot every with Tasha in 2000 and she was the age of consent then.
So she must have probably been around 38 or so.

Tasha is real and down to earth. I saw her in Halifax and got the opportunity to get to know her.
