  • Blackmail spam email - Resolved

Hi all, I received this email and was wondering if anyone else had received something like this in the past.

The password is correct in case you were wondering.

    Any thoughts or advice?

    -
******** is one of your password and I will directly come to the point. You don't know anything about me whereas I know you very well and you're most likely thinking why are you receiving this e-mail, correct?

I placed malware on adult video clips (porno) & do you know what, you visited same sex website to have fun (you get my drift). While you were busy watching videos, your internet browser started out operating as a RDP (Remote Desktop) having a key logger which allowed me access to your system and also your web cam controls. After that, the malware collected all of your contacts from your facebook, and email.

    What have I done?
It's just your hard luck that I saw your blunder. Later I invested in more days than I probably should've exploring into your personal life and generated a double display sextape. First half displays the video you were viewing and next half shows the view from your web camera (it is someone doing nasty things). Genuinely, I am willing to forget all about you and let you continue with your regular life. And I am about to present you a way out that can accomplish it. The two choices are either to disregard this e mail (bad for you and your family), or pay me $ 2700.

    What can you do?
Let us explore those two options in depth. Option One is to ignore this mail. Let me tell you what is going to happen if you select this path. I will send your videotape to all of your contacts including family members, co-workers, etc. It won't shield you from the humiliation your self will face when family and friends discover your dirty video. Wise Option is to send me $ 2700. We will name it my ?privacy tip?. let me tell you what happens if you go with this option. Your dirty secret Will remain private. I'll keep my mouth silent. After you send the payment, I will let you keep your lifetime and family that none of this ever occurred. You'll make the transfer via Bitcoin (if you don't know this all you need to do is search "how to purchase bitcoin" on google search)

    My BTC Address: 14t3G6y9DMYVxz1H2jxTUAqfHvbXUQrgDw
(It's cASe sensitive, copy and paste it carefully)

Notice: You now have one day to make the payment. (I've a special pixel within this e mail, and now I know that you've read this mail). Don't tell anyone what you will use the bitcoin for or they possibly will not provide it to you. The method to acquire bitcoin may take a day or two so do not procrastinate. If I don't get the BitCoins, I definitely will send out your sextape to all of your contacts including friends and family, colleagues, and so forth. having said that, if I receive the payment, I'll destroy the sextape immediately. If you want evidence, reply with "yes!" and I definitely will send out your sextape to your 5 friends. It's a non-negotiable one time offer, so kindly don't ruin my personal time & yours by responding to this e-mail.

Ignore it my friend. This is absolute nonsense. Just change your password. SOmeone got your password and sent this email, you are not on tape.

And hey, if a video of you goes all over the world of you jerking off to porn, so what.. honestly, your life would be better off if you were not living in shame (which is what this email is trying to play on).

I will tell you one thing; if you send that money, this will not be the last time you get an email like this. Once they have you hooked, they will try to drain you.

There's been a lot of talk on this -- ignore it. Some people have tried to trace it back and it appears to be from a wholesale user database breach from *many* years ago.

Thanks, I tried searching the name and email it came from, but came up with nothing. After copying a line of the email into google, lots of info on it came up.

The scary part was the same sex websites, however it?s primarily been tgirl websites I?ve visited.

How do you put malware in adult videos that can do all this stuff?
Watching videos opened up your computer as a remote desktop? Priceless...
            Keylogger accessed your webcam? Hilarious.
They are just throwing random hacking terms at you. This is spam.

If you have proper Anti malware protection there is no way this can happen.

They say "Same Sex" because some people would totally freak out over that if they are secret cocksuckers or even if they aren't. (Which is many people)
Once something is said, even if proven false, can never be taken back.

This exact email would be sent to millions.
If you look at it most of the points could apply to just about any guy, or all guys.

This is how fortune tellers and psychics fool you.
They say stuff that could apply to just about anyone.
"You have had a bad relationship in the past."
"You have been depressed at times"
            "People just don't understand you"

            Same technique, different pile.

This all sounds like an excellent premise for a new porno - Black-She-Mailers.
She's new in town, just got in from Nigeria, she's in tech.
He's a married guy who can't stop watching tgirl porn.
She needs new shoes, he needs to offer up cash...AND HIS ASS!!!

The funny thing is that all guys do it, and everyone knows that every guy does it.
Yet every guy is terrified that someone might find out they are doing something that everyone knows they are doing.

Most guys straight or not have checked out gay porn also, even if they won't admit it.
Even if they look at weird stuff online that may not mean that is what they actually want in real life.

Before guys might have been ashamed of being considered gay or bi.
Now it is almost the opposite and even more embarrassing because if people think you might be gay,
they feel the need to celebrate you, confront you and out you.
Just because it is acceptable to be gay most guys that have sucked a cock don't necessarily want to be labelled as such.

It is actually more scary now than before for those in the closet.
Many people are in the closet for a reason and don't feel they are actually gay.
Now others are almosting forcing many to come out.

I worry about people finding out I'm into shemales, not because they will be shocked.
Because they might be "Too Accepting" like when a baby goes poopoo in the toilet the first time.

I know what you mean. On the one hand, we have remnants of major sexual repression from our Judeo-Christian/Victorian roots in the West, although I think a lot of it was adapted from a survival standpoint, but on the other, a parody of masculinity (i.e. the concept of a "real man" as a stoic, emotionally repressed, disposable person who works until he's dead). On top of that, a lot of people are just simply shallow (they're just very petty for whatever reasons), but then you also have real concerns about disease that's connected with sex of any kind (I heard a statistic recently from the CDC, for instance, which stated that something like 1 in 6 people aged 14 to 49 in the US have genital herpes, which is incurable). Even when you think about the surgeries some people get today (plastic, implants, etc.), many would have simply died from these in the pre-antibiotics era, and we may be facing a post-antibiotics era relatively soon (maybe a few centuries, idk), where most of the commonly curable std's will have incurable strains and in general, a lot of people will be dying from very basic infections.

(edit: that was a tangent, but my point was that, apart from the rare hermaphrodite, trans people are a new phenomenon, and may become more obscure over time if surgery becomes much more dangerous, which I think relates to how unusual genderbending is and will continue to be to a lot of people, although of course we should recognize the humanity in everyone - except serial killers maybe? idk, it's all so confusing!)

Anyways, that's been my experience. Most of the problems I've had from people when it comes to sexuality stem from some combination of religious beliefs, sexual repression, concepts of manhood, concerns about disease, and pettiness.

As accepting as everyone thinks they are these days, they still have bias.
Women may accept you if they think you are gay or bi, but you will probably go straight into the friend zone....
