I am heading to Pattya for two weeks. Anyone have any pointers?

Well Pattaya probably has the largest red light district in the world.
And also has the largest concentration of Ladyboys in the world.
I would suggest staying in Bangkok a few days too it is great.

Pattaya has beaches and such but they are not the best beaches in Pattaya. They are dirty and the water is not the purest, say compared to Phuket or Samui. If you want pristine beaches either take a side trip down there or hire a power boat to take you out to some on some island away from Pattaya.
Also Jomtien beach near Pattaya is a much nicer cleaner beach.

For Ladyboy action you merely have to go to Walking Street after dark.
Walking street has everything and you will have no problem finding what you want. However you have to consider you are going to have ladies and ladyboys hanging on you anywhere you go, especially gogos and other bars.

Pattaya is different that Bangkok in alot of ways.
Bangkok is a lot more like our society.
There is much less street action and more of the girls work in clubs, restaurants and bars. As such there is some mandatory testing and things that are supposed to happen so it is somewhat safer that way. However Thailand is notorious for corruption.

Many of the Ladyboys in Pattaya come from Issan and other poorer areas and most are there to try to support their family and find a falang (foreign) boyfriend. Most of these girls are freelancers and such no testing is happening here. But certainly some very nice sincere ladyboys in this group.

Be careful of the side streets (sois) along Walking street at night.
They get dark and if you are alone you can be in trouble.
Many know Muay Thai.
Also avoid be in a situation where you are alone with enough ladyboys you don't know because there is many robberies like this since 3 ladyboys could easily kick the shit out of you.
You are much better to meet ladyboys in the bars and pay the bar fine to the owner. This way you have some recourse if something bad happens. And chances are nothing bad will happen because the girl works for the bar and wants to keep her job.

Well escort agencies aren't usually recommended in Thailand as the price, experience and service just probably won't be the same.
You are much better off to go out and pick from amongst the many beauties.

Also if you invite Ladyboys to your hotel from an agency you can't be quite sure what you are going to get. Plus if you have a ladyboy over to your room, even if you think she is passable, your friends dates can probably tell. Thais all seem to know who the ladyboys are, they don't care but they might tell your assoicates in passing because they are so casual about it.

In Bangkok I would suggest going to Nana Plaza and Guess Bar.

It is in the Nana Hotel complex, taxis probably know.
Don't be afraid to ask at Nana hotel or wherever to find it.
It is very discreet and there is gorgeous girls there.
Upstairs they have very nice clean short time rooms.

I think it is on Soi 7 as I said, don't be afraid to ask someone.
