It seems on Oct 1 Porn is banned on OnlyFans: OnlyFans to Block Sexually Explicit Videos Starting in October - Bloomberg

Someone will likely start up a new way to distribute porn by providers.

This was anticipated as Mastercard put in some pretty harsh new rules about payment processing and adult content . This decision is all about protecting their ability to accept credit cards.

The platform was built upon porn girls and sex workers in general. I can not see them recovering the massive revenue loss to even be around in 5 years in their current incarnation. The big revenue for them is tipping and all the videos the performers sell you through DM. Both of those would plummet even if the customer will still be happy to pay the monthly subscription to see his favorite performer in a bikini giving cooking tips.

And, this is a terrible day for performers from those with one subscriber to tens of thousands. Most of them will take a big hit to being outright driven off the platform as its no longer worth the time.

Fancentro has nifty transfer and import tools to get a performers content from Onlyfans to their platform. I think they should pick up a lot of the slack. As long as OF allows nudity girls can get subscription money but certainly no where near what it used to be; especially with the video clip sales.

There are other places to go, like Fancentro, for example. And business minded creators generally already have multiple streams of revenues online that they can still keep using.
