I haven’t been seeing many people since Covid. But now that we have rapid tests (I bought a ton of them for my office) do you think it would be ok when visiting one of the girls on the site to ask them for if we could do a rapid Covid test to stay safe?

i'd ask if they are willing to take the test before hand. you don't want to spring that on them.

If you tell them when booking they can chose to say yes or no. I would suspect most would say "sure". It is a nice peace of mind thing. If you just pull it out when you meet in person it may be awkward if she is someone who is against any of that stuff. Just ask ahead of time!

Can you get rapid tests in BC or are they still being suppressed along with treatments? I like the idea of an escort taking a rapid test before just in case. While they are at it why not take a rapid test for HIV or other STI's too.

You know they take 15 minutes to get results right? You gonna pay for that extra time while it processes? Or trust she is showing you a fresh test?

You get results in a few minutes even though it says 15

The BC Gov is not giving them out so you would have to get them on your own.

They are not flawless and won't catch everything (I can't recall what the percent accuracy is but its not 100 percent thats for sure). It will catch a few things though and I think the peace of mind is nice for alot of people.

Personally I would not be bothered at all as I had a client that asked me for a rapid HIV test once and he asked before he came over and I said "sure" and that was that, plus he gave me a little tip for the extra waiting time If you have nothing to hide why not plus it would be nice to know you have a negative Covid test, as some can have it and have no symptoms.

Thanks for replying! I’d gladly pay extra for the time it takes to do the test

Haha exactly! Get out and live life, or if you’re scared, stay in the basement under the covers..

I have my shots and I personally am happy I got them but I am of the "live your fucking life or stay home" faction. I haven't stopped doing the things I enjoy unless they were closed by government restrictions or something. I am happy that where i live most people seem to be living this way too at this stage.

I think the "lock it down and hide" people are getting smaller in number. One of the positives of this Omicron thing is it seems to be showing more people that it's ok to get out and accept this as part of the risk of being a human being and to not live in fear.

The big problem with the "fear mongers", is they have a very simple path to keep themselves away from covid.... STAY HOME. But, they don't like that unless everyone else does it too... seems rather selfish to me.

just my two cents on a topic that i think we can all agree we have had enough of.
