What's up with the time

Is it me or is the time posted in the top right hand corner of the screen way off

Logged in right now and the time is 3:27am when it's actually 7:17am ?

And the post time says 12:19pm ??

You are not alone. I am on pretty well every day and this morning at 8:28 AM, here is what I see at top right:-

It doesn't make any difference to me so I have never mentioned it but it does seem to vary in a random way from time to time.

Check up control Panel and did see any place to change time ??

Well it is like this i think,

Basically your session will stay active for 24 hours once you log in.
If you return within 24 hours you are considered not to have logged out yet. So I believe the "last visited" is the last time you visited and did not log in again for over 24 hours. So if you are here every day, your "last visited" date could be sometime in the past.

So there ya go.

I had often wondered about the strange logon dates/times that appeared, but never tried to make sense of it.

It makes perfect sense now though, with your explanation above. I have just checked back on my calendar, and I found that I had been away from home(and computer) for a few days in July, returning home on July 17th.

Being away, the system had automatically logged me out after the first day. On arriving home I did log on again on July17th.

Since I have been checking the Forum every day since then, yes, my last login was in fact, July 17th.

Four months! OMG! It is definitely time for another trip to Toronto!
