Personally I'd switch to the Sony. If your Toshiba is working well though I might keep it. You never know if you'll get a defective Sony. For that size TV you will never notice the difference between 720P or 1080P. You only notice the difference at over 40" So you know, 1080P can only be seen through Bluray, not from a High Def box. They only transmit at 1080i maximum. But for that size TV, 720P is fine. Make sure you get the high Definition from the cable or satellite company.
