Required is a bit misleading. You won't have to take it as a general person unless you need travel or are employed in certain industries

I don;t know what to make of it. Vaccines do work and reduce serious outcomes for those who are vulnerable, but for most of us we have already had covid many times and it was mild or we didn't even know. The vaccines are pretty much useless after the 2 month mark as they diminish rapidly. I got a booster in December, and for all reality I am basically in the same boat as unvaccinated people at this stage so why fucking bother. Seems pointless to dump this shit in my body when I am not further ahead than an unvaxxed person a couple months later.

So for me, I decided to not take anything more unless it is required for travel. I love to travel and need to travel and will do it for that purpose. If its' not required to get on a airplane they can pound sand as far as I am concerned. I won't die of covid and considering how much social contact I have without any issues, I won't be getting sick from it either .So, I don't care anymore.

This is only anecdotal from my life, but the masking people who are scared and stay away from people still seem to be getting pounded with covid more and their cases are a lot harsher than those of us who dive into the soup of humanity every day. I know quite a few unvaxxed people and they have never, ever, even had a sniffle related to covid. People I know directly or through social contacts who are maskers and still avoid crowds, have been going down with harsh covid symptoms over and over. Anecdotally it my life it seems the people who are afraid and avoiding contact and masking are getting the shit kicked out of them right now while the people who are just going on with their lives are having nothing happen or mild days. I find that interesting to say the least.

LIke I said earlier, I will do what is needed to travel. That is important to me. I never had a bad reaction to a vaccine so I don't fear them. But at this point they are wearing off so fast so we are basically on equal grounds with the unvaxxed right now anyways.

There are a million things to list but one that bugs me a lot is how the government and media never separated the people who were so sick from covid that they had to go to a hospital versus people already in hospital and testing positive. The numbers could be as high as 40% that tested while in hospital.

The Govt has not mandated vaccines for the general populace. I know a number of people who are not vaccinated. However, if you want to travel to other countries, you have to follow their vaccination mandates. There are some jobs that do require vaccination. Pfizer wants to make money, like any corporation. You don't have to like everything they do to take the vaccine and protect yourself.

Vaccines reduce likelihood of infection and reduce symptoms if you do get infected, greatly reducing deaths and hospitalizations, saving ICU beds for those who need them. Some diseases like the flu and covid are more contagious than others so they never completely go away even with vaccines, but the flu today is nothing more than an inconvenience, and in a few generations Covid will be the same. Vaccines help us get there with a much lower death toll.

Hospitals literally quarantined covid patients away from the others so I don't know where you're getting any of that from.

Do the responsible thing and listen to the doctors. We are not in a position to decide what is best in this situation.

Most of us probably had a mild or moderate version of covid back in the spring of 2020. After reading this article I came to the conclusion that I had mild covid in March 2020. Sent the article to a few friends and they came to the same conclusion too as they had been unusually sick in the late winter early spring like millions of other people around the world.
