If a provider is vaccinated could she still pass on the virus to you if she had sex with an infected person? People were getting Covid even after they were vaccinated. And no, I didn't give a shit about Covid so I still saw SP's and I was okay. But with monkeypox what do we tell our friends and family when they know only gay and bisexual men get it and it's all over your body. So yes. I'm going to lie low for a while till this passes.

As a coronavirus, one of covid’s signature traits is that it mutates like a bastard. So yes, unfortunately, since the efficacy of the vaccines is not that great (though once again, very effective in preventing hospitalization and death!), it keeps on getting transmitted, and keeps on mutating further. Monkeypox is not like that, and the vaccines are much more effective. Also it’s just not as transmissible as covid in the first place.

I did say “vaccines” by the way—the one on offer (and that clients of sex workers can now get, along with a variety of other at-risk groups) is a more modern style vaccine; the old one was actually a live-virus vaccine. This is actually a pretty big deal as it will be useable by many people who would not have been able to access it. For example there are some types of eczema where, if you have them, monkeypox (and chickenpox) are much more dangerous, and it’s even dangerous to be around someone who has been vaccinated—with the old vaccine. This goes for people with compromised immune systems generally who can’t safely get any live-virus vaccine.

I got my vaccine this morning. It was easy and simple, took less than an hour, and the side effects have been, so far, feeling a little bit fatigued.

The simple solution is don’t have gay sex and you’ll be fine. Sorry to come off like a dick . But according to the WHO it’s very high in the gay community.

Here's the thing about gay. The men who visit Transexuals are 100% not gay. Not even bi in the sense the people who have sex with gay men and straight women. Gay men strictly only have sex with other men. The men who see transexuals are straight men who are mostly married with children. There is something about trans girls that they find tremendously attractive. So the chance of transexuals having monkey pox could be slimmer than gay men having monkeypox. I may be wrong here but this is my take on this.

Booked mine on Monday and got it today. Haven’t noticed any reaction to the live virus vaccine yet and will follow up if I do. Glad it was as simple as that since I’ve got a date with a SP on Monday and now Monkeypox is one less thing to worry about.

So for me. 36 hours after the “LIVE VIRUS VACCINE”. and I had a slightly sore triceps for the day but nothing that would hold me back.

Here’s the thing about what you said, it’s slightly accurate, however the man who has ANAL sex with a transsexual/shemale/ladyboy/heshe/tranny/transvestite/Crossdresser/gay man. Had the vaccine two weeks ago. Aside from slightly sore arm for a few days, had zero after effects.

This may be different in other provinces, but in BC, i was given the option of having the vaccine recorded on my normal medical records, or under a different name. They said if I wanted to have it under another name, it would take them a few extra minutes to create a false persona. So I used the online form to book the appointment, and when i was registering, i was offered the option.

So if anyone is on the fence, and is worried/afraid about being 'outed' by the fact of getting the monkeypox vaxx, and having it on your record, this could be a option for you.

Yes, anything that may connect you to the gay community or being "outed" you are allowed to be anonymous. Sex workers too. Plenty of STI clinics here in Vancouver's west end where you don't have to have your real name on the results sheet. It's kind of sad we even have to do that, but such is the society we live in. Yes, having the anonymity (which i was not aware of as an option), is nice, and will be away of getting people in without worrying of the stigmata of getting the mpx vaccine. It's not like you are forced to wear a rainbow bracelet while sitting in the waiting room for your vaxx. 😉
