Considering she has lifetime friendships with her husbands family, I would say a lot of it worked out. 70+% of marriages end up in divorce by some statistics; it really has nothing to do with gay, straight ,trans etc. Her marriage won't fail because her husband "brought home a shemale" as you might say.
