I know I've said this in other threads before, but it seems no one listens, so I'll try again.

You will get on with a normal life, with normal problems, and normal loves as soon as you forget about the trans part. By focusing on one specific issue, you are condemning yourself to live in that issue.

For example;

If you have cancer, you will think about cancer when you wake up, when you go to bed, and all throughout your day. Your cancer will always come up in your conversations, and you will associate with other cancer victims, and their supporters. Cancer will become your entire life.

If you have a trans history, you have the choice to make it an identity, or not. If you hang out with other trans people, you will constantly talk about it. If you date trans admirers, you will be fetishized because of it. If you make it an identity, you will always be seen as trans.

You can choose to live in a trans identity, or you can choose to see it as a medical condition, and move beyond it. Only then will you get on with a normal life.
