I don't agree with you but when I get ready to play a GTA 4 multi-player game I sometimes hear kids talking over the mic and I wonder why their parents don't give a shit. These kids sound ten and under. That is not a game for kids.

With the chat about the XBox 360 here, most people run down the XBox 360 and praise the PS3 like I did one time but I bought the PS3 recently and I found downfalls with the PS3. The PS3 takes ages to download an update when a high speed Broadband is running through. An update to 77MB's took me about twenty-five minutes to download. I can't say how long it would take with the XBox 360 because I've never used Xbox Live. Somebody elsewhere confirmed the internet is slow through the PS3. Another downfall with the PS3. First, PS3 trophies are like XBox 360 achievements. With the PS3 we need the internet to earn trophies and with the XBox 360 we DON'T need the internet to earn achievements. I completed GTA 4 last year around the Summer with the XBox 360 without the internet and got a good score with achievements. When I bought the PS3 I bought GTA 4 again and I started playing the game again without the internet and when I got the internet going through I get a message each time after loading saying I have to start the game again to earn the trophies. I don't know if that means all of them or if it means I can't earn the ones where I did their things without the internet first. The activity is save auto mode. One trophy is earnt if you get a six-star-wanted level and you keep the police on you back for more than five minutes. I did that without the internet and when I tried it with the internet nothing was earnt. You get one for flying under all the bridges. I flew under one bridge without the internet and when I flew under a different one with the internet I was told I have eleven more to go. I flew under the same one that I did without the internet and no countdown message appeared. I'm fucked for that trophy. With the XBox 360, all this can be done without the internet. Of course, I'm talking about the main game with Niko Bellic. Also, of course, I've had the internet for years but the PS3 is the first to have the internet running through as a game console.

Another thing I hate about the PS3 is when you play a game for the first time you have to spend nearly half-hour installing an update from the game disc. That takes-up so much disc space. With the XBox 360 you don't have to go through that shit, you can pop the disc in and load it straight away, pure and simple, not sitting there bored awaiting for a long and boring installation that wastes a lot of disc space. My PS3 hard drive is 80GB's and I've hardly put anything in and I've already used over 23GB's. All I've installed is the PS3 updates, the GTA 4 installation thing whatever it is, my game play for on and off-line and a couple of video clips and a music album. That GTA 4 installation thing before I could load and play the game used the most space. I've only bought GTA 4 for my PS3 but if we have to install something big with every game we'll run out of disc space and have to either get another and bigger hard drive a lot or keep freeing-up the space by removing data.

Most people prefer the PS3 but I wonder if it not all that good. I think the internet viewing through it is shit because when you view a site like Yahoo through it, when you move the screen to the far bottom right-hand corcer there's about 25% of the screen missing where the PS3 Internet Browser isn't big enough. I find games better to play in the XBox 360 because the PS3 controller seems to have a mind of its own because of the R3 knob being to sensitive.

I know Microsoft charge money for XBox Live and the internet is free through the PS3 but for all I know XBox Live could have better stuff.

I could say more downfalls about the PS3 but I said enough and I don't have time for the rest.

Is Xbox Live better than the internet side to the PS3? I have the internet running through my PS3 only but I find it disappointing. I wonder if the XBox Live is better, worse or the same.

I had an Atari. Used to play Pong all the time.

I miss the old Commordore 64 games. I loved Big Mac, Mr. Puniverse, Squirm, Fingers Malone and many more Mastertronic games. Monty on the Run was a great game. The problem with Mr. Puniverse was, it was glitched. Now and then the game crashed with a program wizzing up the screen. The problem with some Ocean games like Rambo III was, they cost quite a bit back then and they only had three levels and the game was completed. There's was many other games I loved with that computer.

I hope you don't mind me asking. Seeing that you use Xbox Live, I'm wondering if you can tell me what the internet side is like compared to the PS3. I have the XBox 360 but I never used the internet through it. I have the internet with my PS3 and I think the internet side to the PS3 sucks. When I want to view web sites like checking my main e-mails I get the top left-hand corner of the screen and I have to pan and scroll the Internet Browser about and the far right-hand side is always missing where the PS3 Internet Browser isn't big enough and I can't read a whole e-mail. The PS3 profiles suck because they hardly allow us to tell anyone anything. They don't even tell us the other person age, gender and location. I know a lot of names tell the gender but so many people on the PS3 don't use voice and when I add somebody to my Friends List I could be adding a child for all I know and that isn't right. If their parents find out I will look bad when it isn't my fault. Kids shouldn't even be playing a number of the games anyway because of the violence, sexual nature and swearing. In GTA 4, my Multi-player character sometimes tells people to go and fuck a corpse in the ass and somtimes he tells people to eat his dick before calling them a motherfucker and kids shouldn't hear that dialogue. Anyway, when adding friends, the age is the most thing that we need to know. Also, are their public chatrooms for other players to join in and chat and are their forums where you can post messages. The PS3 doesn't have public chatrooms, only private ones but I'm sure more can be invited but I haven't used that yet. Also, the PS3 has a message board but it's for reading only. I'm only curious to know if XBox Live has more than the PS3 internet side.

Something that I also found disappointing with the PS3 internet. I know we get nothing for nothing but PS3 users always boasted about downloading free games, music and movies somehow. I can't see why they would be free because as I said, we get nothing for nothing and I was going by what the boasters said. I remember chatting to a lady through MSN one time and she told me her son was always downloading free games into his XBox and that was before the XBox 360 came out. I wonder at least if games can be downloaded for free in the XBox 360. With the PS3, the free games are demos and I must admit the games for sale are very cheap. One other thing, I bought a game for ?5.00 and when I installed it I have "Trial Version" next to the title where Sony ripped me off and now I have to sort that out between Sony and my credit card company.

The XBox360 doesn't let you access the internet at all. No forums or chat rooms or anything. Internet access is certainly not it's strong suit

One thing it will let you do though is connect to your msn account so you can chat with you're contacts while you are on the xbox. Another thing that you can do is start a voice or video chat with anyone else on your friends list.

As far as the Xbox marketplace compared to the PSN network store, microsoft's offering wins hands down. They've had a lot of time to improve it since the original xbox marketplace. Anyone can download demos and video's from the XBLMP. The only thing that the XBox Live gold membership gets you over the free silver one is the ability to play online multiplayer and the reason it costs is because Microsoft hosts all of the games on their own servers. Sony's network on the other hand leaves it up to the individual companies to support their own games multiplayer, which is why you can pop in any xbox 360 game released and go online with it whereas with sony's network older games will stop being supported for multiplayer.

IMO the only thing the PS3 has going for it is blu-ray as even the graphics in most games on the 360 look better than on PS3.
