      1) Must agree with Kristopin, the fear of losing a child is not very present, but when the thought strikes you it is easily the most terrifying premise imaginable.

      2) Jail.....seriously, im not even a criminal (nor a saint) but losing your freedom is scary shit. And thats not even factoring slow dancing with your cellmate Bubba. Im a clean cut, good looking, blonde haired, blue eyed, thin, white boy.....I wouldnt last 5 minutes lmao

      3) Centipedes. Those disgusting hundred little legged fuckers that you find in your bathtub or sink or under that towel that you neglected to pick up after your shower this morning only to have them scurry out at your feet when you pick it up. I think im going to vomit.

centipedes are cool creatures that eat others bugs, compare to roaches they are great. roaches are a real hateful thing. had to live with them for awhile, think id rather be in jail even thou im am also thin and white but i might be a little wrinkly for some.

i saw a very cool sight a few years back in my backyard. i nest of baby spiders had just hatched i guess. they looked like little golden balls that were attached to strings. they would slow let themselves out a bit and if you touched the web they sprang back in to a tight little ball. it was so cool to see them.

Yeah! Kris keep torturing Paula_k more. lol! it looks like it's not enough for you that she's shivering when posting her own spider story, and still you need to add more lol!

My greatest fear is; Admin banning me from this forum or members here rallying to kick my butt out of this social or (sexual) network, Coz, I really can't shorten my post everytime I need to respond to some of the threads.

And my only defense is: Horny people keeps me going and going and going, so allow me to tell myself .........

i am also afraid to die in a fire. i have saved kids from two apartment fires and also walked into a shop that was fully engilfed to get some kids out but that was all instinct, i would hate to die in a fire.

yep things need to be in natural order. the pain and fears parents go thru about their kids can be so painful. i really dont know how a parent can survive inside when a child dies. love is a powerful thing.

oh so true i dont think i could survive it again, when we lost our first child at 8 months i was devastated.not being able to see there faces each morning when we wake is something i could not bear.there is nothing more precious in the world then a kiss and hug from your child and they look in your eyes and all you see is your world full of un-conditional love thats what life is really about not what we do or what we make but only what we give.

                            Fears Expressed in These Threads

To this post there appeared a number of writers who expressed fears they do have control over. Even trapped in a fire has a 'way' out. Most practical thinkers who fear the water never venture into or on it. This applys to flying phobias, and many others.

The one which you have absolutely no control over and have not directly referred to is death and judgement.
All of us will die, sooner for some, later for others. Upon our death our living accounts will be presented for audit.

If we fail the test of loving our neighbour as we love ourselves and/or fail the test of recognizing we were not at any time in life infallible, or failed to pay proper homage to our single Creator, do we expect to live eternity in tranquility, and peace?

Now there's real fear to consider .

real fear might be if we find there is no personage as a creator. then we are truly alone. but thats is getting way too philosophical. as humans we do have real fears some may seem foolish and insignificant to others but to the person that has that fear it is very real.
when growing up i had the fear of being nuked to death by powers that i appeared to have no control over. as far as homage to a creator i will choose my freedom and deal with the 'vengence' of a god when i die. i know this will upset you but it is my way. freedom always.

the death of our child is absolutely soul destroying, the death of any child thur means other than natural is just wrong when we know we can speak out against it.

maybe we need a thread about death and gods and such but i think it will be very hard, political and extremely religious. it could be good if we can all keep our minds open. but i dont think we can.

Well I lost a child 27 years ago, and one can find healing for it, but one never forgets it.
My greatest fears also follow the lines of my children. They are my best friends- my son is 26 and my daughter is 30, and they have supported me from the start and I have supported them all our lives. I want to be there for them for as long as I can.
