Every once in a while as I read threads here I'll come across a certain statement which makes me super irate.
" I see t girls as a hobby. "
At times that statement is worded a little differently but the meaning still comes across.
Now it is true that a hobby involves doing something in your spare time that's fun but am I wrong in saying that BASICALLY having and doing a hobby usually deals with being creative, collecting things and learning new skills? To add to that don't hobbies usually deal with inanimate objects that are not alive? That's how I've always thought of it.
Of course there are exceptions like being a dog breeder or fishing as those involve living things but for f*** sake how do you possibly classify t women let alone a human being as a hobby?
Personally, to state that in seeing a person as a hobby is dehumanizing. It's as if to say that that individual is void of thought or emotion. An object that is yours to do with as you please.
Let's turn it around. What if someone listed you as "just something I involve myself with every now and then when I think the time is good." How the hell would you take it and how would you feel? I'm guessing pretty damn low.
Now of course whatever people do when they meet is their own business but at least have the class to acknowledge the person you are with is 'there" if you get my meaning. Yeah I know, such bold words considering all factors involved and where this is being written but am I the only one that thinks this way?
