  • Human, not a hobby.

Every once in a while as I read threads here I'll come across a certain statement which makes me super irate.

    " I see t girls as a hobby. "

At times that statement is worded a little differently but the meaning still comes across.

Now it is true that a hobby involves doing something in your spare time that's fun but am I wrong in saying that BASICALLY having and doing a hobby usually deals with being creative, collecting things and learning new skills? To add to that don't hobbies usually deal with inanimate objects that are not alive? That's how I've always thought of it.

Of course there are exceptions like being a dog breeder or fishing as those involve living things but for f*** sake how do you possibly classify t women let alone a human being as a hobby?

Personally, to state that in seeing a person as a hobby is dehumanizing. It's as if to say that that individual is void of thought or emotion. An object that is yours to do with as you please.

Let's turn it around. What if someone listed you as "just something I involve myself with every now and then when I think the time is good." How the hell would you take it and how would you feel? I'm guessing pretty damn low.

Now of course whatever people do when they meet is their own business but at least have the class to acknowledge the person you are with is 'there" if you get my meaning. Yeah I know, such bold words considering all factors involved and where this is being written but am I the only one that thinks this way?

I agree with you. Very well said. Even if someone sees T-girls just for fun sexy times, to call T-girls a hobby is totally disrespectful.
Myself, I lust for sexy T-girls. Touching T-girls, and being touched by T-girls and kissing T-girls gets me really horny. I would like to hang out with T-girls too, like go to the movies or go to dinner and stuff too, but I would be worried if my firends or family found out. They would not understand and would not deal with it well. No one knows I like T-girls.
Years ago I did not understand why anyone would want to be Transgender and in the back of my mind would wonder if they were freaks or messed in the head, but I was just being ignorant. Not that I really understand any better now, but I think Transgender people deserve a lot of respect, and they should be praised for their courage to express themselves and be who they want to be. That's not easy in our society. If people do not fit a certain mold, they get criticized, or looked down upon. This city does deserve some praise though, as there are alot of open minded people in toronto. It is a melting pot of course.

The Oxford definition of a hobby is 'activity pursued for pleasure, not as livelihood' Nothing negative there.
While I agree with your comments that TGirls deserve to be treated as human beings and not as inanimate objects I think that for many of the punters who visit with TGirl prostitutes partaking in a hobby is exactly what they are doing.
Using their spare time and money to bring pleasure into their lives. I fail to see how this is offensive. Is a volunteer choir master being disrespectful to his singers if he claims his involvement is a hobby?
While I understand that your intentions are well meaning it smells of the PC revisionism that is sterilizing our world.
you're only as sick as your secrets.

            Totally disagree.

Well prettyboy, that is your stance and you're welcome to it.

Now go to the neighboring clubs and tell whichever girl you meet that they are just your hobby and nothing more.

Yes that's right! you all heard me. Before I begin, Hi Lisa! welcome back, and because of your absence here I have broken several fingernails posting to fill up the void while you are resting, darn! don't leave us again chickie.

                  Now, to reply to Rantz,

If some guys prefer to treat and call us as just, his hobby, he better get his cheque book ready and that diamond ring for my pinky. And on the other hand if he profess that I am the love of his life and decided to court me and I am totally convinced that I am his one and only lady, let me all tell ya! and with sincerity that HE can shag me for FREE.

Is it less demeaning to call it a "rental"? Seeing a T-girl escort is ultimately a business transaction. It seems to me that calling any "transaction" with any sort of escort a "hobby" puts a friendlier tone to it. We all love our hobbys after all...

Business transactions, exchange of goods and services, etc etc.

If that's the way people like to view this issue then that's fine.

Me I think people are more than just a number.

Well Lani I don't know about others but I don't think of anyone as just a number or a "type" or whatever. I was trying to make the point that those who treat others like that might not see the big picture.

I would hope people would find their own self worth.

For the record I took down that stupid attachment since it wasn't appropriate to what I wanted to say.

Believe me I did found it already, besides that's my own opinion, I'm not enticing others to share my belief, I said it clear, to some guys, THIS is a fantasy and they're donating their hard earned money. If it's about love and respect then meet me in another county.
