ok i dont get pro sports.

i dont get it and wwhat all the fuss is in the us about pro sports athletes and steroids. who cares it is their life they have to decide hoe they are going to get thos big contracts and play at a pro level and entertain the crowd. this to me is the same as the "WWF".

ok so if we are talking olympics, ok we have to be clean to be fair. but when you go pro you have to compete at the highest level. if they know what the steroids will do then what is the problem why be outraged. it has been a common practice to use steroids to decrease the time an injury takes to heal.

why are we supposed to be upset about adults doing what they want to do so they can afford to offer us better entertainement. sorry i just dont get the upset.

Really? I did not move here until 2000. What were some of the stories about him? Twosomes? Threesomes? A different woman every night?

Well, he was Toronto's most popular athlete in the early 90s (except for that "cowboy" named Dougie ) so I'm sure he had his pick of the ladies while he was here. I know he lived in the SkyDome Hotel, so it probably wasn't that hard to pick up a girl at the game, and have her "come back to (his) place" - she was already there!

I know that's a pretty common theme for ballplayers; they'll search the crowd, single out an attractive girl (or two) and have a ballboy ask her out on his behalf. A friend of mine was propositioned by David Segui during the brief time he played with us; she laughed, and declined the invite.

Alomar's ex has confirmed that she's HIV-negative, so we don't even know if Alomar himself is HIV-positive at this point. But if he is, it'll be interesting to see how this all plays out. The suit was filed in New York State, and I'm not sure if/how they choose to prosecute HIV transmission or exposure - will there be criminal charges down the road?

Hey O'C, can you shed some light on the situation? I know a lot about Canadian law, but not enough about how it's done down south.

Also, I'm curious about the rape story - do you have a source handy?
