SRS: Also known as sex reassignment surgery and sometimes gender reassignment surgery. I would think that the term is self explanatory. Male to female and female to male. Right? Right!
Oh wait before I forget! I get this so many damn times!
What's your ulterior motive Rants?
Never mind I know what it is blah blah blah.....
To those who have said that in the past and perhaps in the future I say this.....
People passing judgment to those like me and others because of who we are and what we are involved in really have no clue.
Anyways.
My comment is this. If I meet a person such as a t woman and they insist on going through the change I myself would never stop associating with them. Really now. If you are attracted to someone physically, emotionally, spiritually it wouldn't matter to me either way. Would any one else here feel the same or would some people maybe just nix their association after someone made the switch? Sadly on other websites and on documentaries I've seen some people just end all ties after the SRS is done. Which then gets me to question did that person really accept the other at all?
For the ladies I can only imagine what life is like now for them and what drastic changes could be made should they go through with it. Let alone the "gg" wanting to become a male.
Another thing that's bothering me and is not really related to my first comment but I must ask.
I can not find anything conclusive as to the cost for SRS and if the federal government covers it . I have researched that yes it's covered, only partially and not at all. Not only that I also read that the surgery is a low as a few hundred dollars to hundreds of thousands. Oh! Then theres the waiting period to have the procedure, I've read it can be as little as 6 months to as long as 7 years....
I promise this time not to get out of turn if this thread eventually becomes something like a Happy Saint Patrick's Day deal or whatever. It's just been a rough 3 weeks but things are finally getting into place here.
Ok. Floor is open....
