Now that I've finished my degree, I've decided to give myself a graduation gift. Well, two graduation gifts, to be more precise. . .
On April 30, I'm going to get my first set of breast implants.
I've been considering it for a while, but I wanted to wait until I had developed enough natural tissue to cover them nicely. I'm going to go from a small B-cup to a full C-cup, and I'm very excited - but I'm really worried that something might go wrong. Specifically, I'm worried about capsular contracture.
Anyways, here are the details:
390cc, cohesive gel, round & smooth, moderate/low profile
Performed by Dr. Ronald Levine under general anaesthetic
Periaeriolar incision (through the nipple)
Subglandular placement (above the muscle)
So I've done a lot of reading online, which might not be the best idea - the thought of capsular contracture simply terrifies me. What can I do to avoid it, or at the very least, minimize my chances of getting it?
Any advice you can be provide would be great - I have two weeks under I go under the knife, and I'd like to prepare as much as possible beforehand.
Thanks!
