Has the Thailand annual tourism bubble burst?

There were annual trips from Canada to Thailand/Pattaya organized on the forum before covid ... but no longer? It seemed to be a good idea - safety in numbers and having experienced people in the group. Has the Thai TGirl bubble burst? I read that Thai police were cracking down pretty hard. Do they have morality police there now? Asking for a friend.

I have two friends that live in Thailand and they told me its because there was recent documentaries on child prostitution and sex tourism so they have been cracking down on trying to clean up Thailands image especially Bangkok which i don't think will happen .....I south Thailand near the Malaysian border they have now Morality Brigades.

Ah yes i'm not surprised that it goes in waves in Thailand.....especially with all the fucked up stuff that happens on certain parts of the sex industry over there, I think Ladyboys in Thailand are def not part of the problem,its sad that some people mess it up . Those trips were organized by the previous owner of the board. He organized them around a Ladyboy water volleyball event. That event has not been held since Covid. If they ever have another one, I wouldn't be surprised to see him show up here and organize another trip. Nice guy btw.

If you are going to Thailand, there will still be plenty of fun to be had in the tourist entertainment areas. I will be visiting later this year and have no concerns about finding LB or GG companionship if I want to.

I went to Thailand in Feb 2020 and came back Feb 2023. I moved around quite a bit but mostly stayed in Pattaya Jomtien. I never noticed any crackdowns on freelancers at all. Sure they had curfews and bar closures but if you wanted something I knew where to find it. I used Tinder and found a few nice girls there.

same thing happens in Hong Kong.. they report anyone to the cops who is not filiipina so almost all your HK trans escorts are from the Phillipines. If you are Thai and transgender you can't even get past immigration in Hong Kong most of the time, even if you are just there for tourism.

Don’t believe any of the crap in the media. Go to Thailand and enjoy yourself. There’s so many women and ladyboys around, it’ll blow your mind. Police won’t and don’t do anything about prostitution. The food is great, people are friendly, and it’s easy to commute around the country.

I agree! Thailand was great! Want to go back again. Never saw any of that riot nonsense or anything close to it. Very civilized though the LBs are not shy about wanting to get your business…lol
