I was playing my regular game of squash today and noticed on the TV in my club that Craigslist is shutting down their erotic services section? Not that this is fact because I saw it on cablepulse 24, but I think they would just post somewhere else like casual encounters or something. Any thoughts? Anyone hear the same?

Some of us need places like craigslist because we are from the States and there isn't a place that I know of that is cheap or free to post. Most U.S. girls aren't posting on shemalecanada or joining here. At least not those in Western NY anywayComment

craidslist erotic services is being dropped in the US only for now. the canadian side is also talking about doing it due to gov pressure.
at least those are the facts as far as i now them.according to some, not trangenderedComment

I have been reading about this situation on many different sites.
From what I have read, they are not removing escorts but they are changing the name and how the ads are placed.
They will now be called ?adult services?
Craigslist staff will have to approve all ads before they are posted online.
I personal think is a good things. There is to many people posting like 3-5 ads per day. People took the flagging an ad and abused it. Clients where posting unfounded clams against the escorts. Girls where posting pictures and information that was against the rules. It messed it up for the people who were going by the rules.

The other thing that is happening is the $5 charge per posting, with reduced rates for repeat postings.
The prices listed are a little high and seem like a cash grab. I also noticed that the charity comment from the previous charge posts seemed to be missing.
I do agree they need to limit the multi posting as well as groups of people clearing out the entire section by flagging (takes 10 different IPs flagging an ad to have it auto removed, Kitchener got hit by a group doing this for a few weeks)Comment
