I'd prefer to purchase from a store. Just did some measurements...
        Waist: about 33 1/2'
Chest (measured under arms): about 37'

If you go to a store's website (like say Walmart), it will usually tell you about measurements. Also sometmes the measurements differ depending on the brand. With a 33 1/2" waist, you should be able to fit in a size 6 panty (I recommend thongs).

I am rather lucky in this department because I am only 5'7" and slim (120 lb tops). I just go into a shop, talk to the saleslady and go out with something that fits me well. Bras are the only problem but that is easily settled because I am still in the normal range. Nighties can give me a problem not because of the size but because I don't have tits (wish I did!). In short you just have to screw up your courage and ask the saleslady and you will get what you need. For all you know she deals with CD's everyday. If you need an expert, talk to an expert. Shopping online is ok but the really good stuff has to be tried on.
