My top 20 pics.

I will always make the argument that there are people out there like myself that don't need to see a lot of skin in a photo to appreciate the shot let alone find the person sexy. Show me a woman in a nice gown or a tight blouse and if the shot looks good I'd rather go for her instead of the every day lying on the beach taking a tan type of deal.

I guess you could also say that I have a bias too because I study and like pin up as also the pin up works of De Berardinis, Janesko, Macpherson and others.

Whats pin up? Well. A pin-up girl is a model whose pictures see wide exposure in pop culture. Pin-ups are intended to excite and tease and are usually fashion models showing lots of glamour.

O.k. well. I know some people won't agree with my selection. That's all cool but I wanted to let you all know where I am coming from with my choices.

Alyssa. Black background. Gothic look. Burning red dress. The color is so bright and vivid it just grabs your attention

Andrea. This is proof that the classic shot is usually the best bet. Normally something you would see advertised in ads from WW1 or WW2 to build morale for the troops.



Danika. Simple look to the camera. The background helps her skin tone. Excellent contrast all around.

Isabelle. I feel the same way about this pic the way that I do about Andrea's except I would say that you would see this type of photo produced today as opposed to 50 years ago where they wouldn't show as much skin as this shot does.



Karolina. She doesn't even have to try to look glam. The photo all around is great as when you go left to right it goes from light to dark. Nice emphasis on the shadow.

Kayla. The lingerie sure doesn't hurt in this pic but she's not going overboard either. Yes very erotic and also sensual at the same time. Color coordination from the foreground to the back is awesome.

Lola. A very sporty outfit. Appears that shes gearing up for a game. You would find something like this in a sports mag to sell certain sports equipment or to promote a sports event.

Lucy. Overall its fabulous because it appears as if it took forever to take this shot. Nice emphasis on the brightness of the outfit. Has that sweet or candy like feel.

Marlena. Excellent play on blending in with the grass. Exotic and wild but yet on the same token you are not turned away because of the smile.

Maria Lee. This is what I try and get across with my arguments. She is topless but she isn't exposing herself either and still leaves something to the imagination.

I'm saying right now that out of all the pics I've seen this is the BEST one out there currently. This is WHAT pin up is. This shows true femininty. That pose alone says it all and she captures the spirit of pin up with the background and that retro neon swimsuit.

Mia.Just like Marlena she blends incredibly well with the scenery but unlike Marlena that stare of hers is just wicked. You'd see something like this in a music mag. Kind of like a la rocker chick or something to that extent.

Nikka. Nice shadow effect. Whats really nice is how she uses the chair to her advantage. Shes not being too sexual. Her position shows all emphasis on her body without the need to have to point out certain things.

Nikki. It's a portrait and it's one of the better ones out there. If done right you can still show sexiness and friendliness this way. Its the type of shot you could put in your wallet or on your desk and anyone who sees it would say "cute" or "Looks familiar"

Natalie. Nice . Simple. Clean. This pose is timeless and is used with various backgrounds. Its synonymous with "sexy". Often used to sell cars or music or clothing or travel and not everyone can do this shot.

Sue. Over all the rest she has some of the greatest studio shots. I said SOME not ALL.
This being her best. Shes teasing you and she wants to tease you but stops at that fine line. Astounding play on how the tarp she stands on is also used to cover her as well.

Sunshine. Simple. Clean. Whats great about this is blending white on white. So what? It is incredibly hard and I do mean INCREDIBLY HARD to blend in the same color even if the shades are slightly different. Has that going to the beach feel.
