Lisa and Nikki,
i respect both of you for being the women you are. When i see the open animosity between you two it actually hurts me inside. i now you have your differences of opinions and how to advance the trans cause but this fighting advances nothing but ill feeling.

this friday i went to the tran parade. it was such an emotional high. i was nearly crying at one point when people on the street started clapping and cheering us on that it was so touching to a very sensitive heart.

saturday was such a huge letdown from the parade. an innocent comment about my outfit was hurtfull. i spent a lot of time and energy buying my clothes and trying to look like a sexy trans but male at the same time. a comment like nice outfit or love your girl tight jeans they look great on your ass would have been wonderful. but the low was so low that buy the time i was on my 6th brandy i was actually looking at my blood thinners again. transition for all of us is an emense journey that simple innocent comments taken by someone that is so new to transitioning and acceptance and is recovering from a nervous breakdown coupled with all the other crap in my life that i find this recsent spat harmful. please stop fighting. we all need each other for support and understanding.

First, I hope everyone enjoyed Pride as much as I did, and I'm already looking forward to next year. But I'm not done with this thread quite yet.

Kristy, you need to lighten up. If you're getting upset about stupid comments about your outfit, just wait until you experience some real negativity. You've embarked on a path that will require a lot more mental toughness than you can possibly imagine, and you need to prepare yourself better.

Regardless, this thread perfectly shows the three things about Lisa that anger me most:

1) Completely unprovoked attacks, in threads that have nothing to do with her;
2) Random insults, name-calling and slurs, because she can't engage in a real argument without them;
3) Offering nothing to the forum besides negativity.

1) This was meant to be pleasant thread, and until Lisa got involved, it was. People were simply wishing each other a nice weekend of celebration, posting a few pics, talking about our experiences at the parade. It was great - until Lisa decided to throw out...

2) ...an insult. Calling cobbler a retard, and for what? Saying something nice about someone other than Lisa? She had no business getting involved in the first place, but her only contribution was...

3) ...getting people upset, and again, for no reason. She hijacked a positive thread simply because she has absolutely nothing better to do. Lisa can't stand to see other people happy because she's so miserable and lonely; so, she takes shots at people, trying to get them into a fight. Why? What does this serve? How does this possibly benefit the trans community, or anyone else for that matter?

You say that Lisa and I have "differences of opinions [on] how to advance the trans cause" but as far as I can tell, Lisa has no desire to advance anything but her own interests. Not that I do a whole lot myself, but at least I give a fuck about other people. Lisa only cares about herself, and sticks her nose into everything, while contributing NOTHING.

I can already predict how her response will look:
