Do you think passable transwomen are prettier than non passable transwomen

What are your thoughts on this? Often times I hear passability thrown around as a sign a transwomen is pretty in these forums and non passsbility meaning she's ugly. Is this something you all agree on? Or have you found yourself attracted to non passable transwomen? Let's discuss

Passable transwomen are transwomen who "pass" as a woman, so yes they will be prettier. The more passable, the more pretty. But then there are alot of less or way less passable transwomen that still look somewhat, less or way less pretty but are still passably hot. The very very non passable probably are men in a wig.

For me, its two separate and distinct qualities. Passability does not imply automatic attractiveness, nor does being attractive necessarily mean that someone trans is 100% passable. I think it comes down to the nature of the attraction. I'm bi, so i find aspects of both male and female appearances and aesthetics desireable. I have seen a number of trans women with (what i consider) hot bodies or strikingly beautiful faces that would never be mistaken for genetic women. But I've also felt that same attraction about some men, and some women. I think theres a hyper feminine trans aesthetic that a lot of trans ladies go for that I find particularly appealing (think Barbie, or 90s Pamela Anderson), but that doesn't necessarily mean being able to blend into society as an (attractive) genetic woman.

But if I was determined to hang onto the illusion that I was 100% straight while sucking a dick, or having my dick sucked by someone born with a dick, or if I was embarassed to be seen in public with someone visibly trans and was looking to date, I might consider passability to the ultimate and paramount aesthetic goal.

A transwoman who looks like Gabourey (who's a pretty female woman on the heavy side) would be prettier than one who looks like 90's Rupal, but it will depend on one's preference as to who they will find hotter. Although not all cis (female) women are pretty. There are quite alot of female women that look a little or more manly than other women who are amongst the prettiest women on Earth like Elle Fanning and Emma Stone for example. Then there are transwomen who look far more pretty than female women. It varies from person to person depending on their chromosomes really. DNA and science cannot lie. The more female chromosomes the more pretty, the more male chromosomes the more masculine. I'm very surprised in 2024 there still isn't a chromosome electronic detector that can determine one's precise and exact chromosomes. There are alot of female woman and trans women who look part man to less or more or no degree, and alot of male men and trans men who look part woman to less or more or no degree, yet they don't know what their chromosomes are. For example, Wendy Williams is a female woman yet she must have some Y chromosomes because she looks slightly or a little manly even her voice can get lower.
To me, I think Elle Fanning and Emma Stone are amongst the prettiest women on Earth and I could bet their chromosomes are a perfect XX. I wonder if their chromosomes may be XXXX making them even more pretty than women who are XX? I find them (and other female actresses) so pretty and like eye candy that I buy their movies on dvd just because they are in them. And I wonder of those transwomen that may be even prettier than Elle and Emma (if that will be possible) what they're chromosomes are, XXXXXXY?

To me, a transwoman is passable simply if she appears and behaves in a way where the vast majority of people she interacts with in real life cannot distinguish her from a ciswoman. In other words, they cannot tell that she is trans. I think by this definition most transwomen do not pass even if they're often told they do. There are a lot of easy tells to pick up on like their size, frame, skin, size of hands/feet, voice, etc. Most people lie to transwomen about their passability for reasons including: They're polite, it's considered politically incorrect to identify a transwoman as trans in public, fear being cancelled, they are men who have sex with transwomen, but need to lie to themselves because they are denial of their gynesexuality/bisexuality.

"Pretty" is essentially a word used to describe attractiveness through the possession of traditionally female features. That's why we often see a strong correlation between prettiness and passability. This doesn't mean that a transwoman who isn't pretty is necessarily ugly. It means they are not attractive in a way a ciswoman is.

I am certainly attracted to transwomen who are not passable because what I'm attracted to is their blend of the masculine and feminine. If I was only attracted to the feminine, I would have stuck to only having sex with ciswomen. If I found masculinity more attractive, I could go out and have sex with men and it would be shooting fish in a barrel, but I have zero desire to do that. As a gynesexual top, I'm sexually attracted to ciswomen, but also biological males who are feminine in some way whether it is their looks or personality or both. I'm very attracted to passable transwomen, nonpassable transwomen, and even some femboys.

And I don't think I'm alone on this. You can look at reviews and see men here rave about how gorgeous some providers are even if the provider is not even close to being passable by the definition I provided. The people who truly find transwomen attractive do so because they are trans, not because they can look close to cis.

Passable are more attractive IMO. However, those with too much surgeries are not passable at all and look funny to me. Same as the ones who are blatantly non passable with manly features.

Very interesting perspective and I think we share major similarities on our thoughts about this. When I look at beauty I'm not necessarily thinking of is this transwoman a convincingly passable woman. I'm looking rather at features that I find pretty/beautiful.

If by pretty here you mean aesthetically attractive as opposed to purely sexually attractive, then yes, I believe a nonpassable transwoman can be pretty even if they're not so in terms of traditional female beauty standards. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say.

It's worth noting even a fully passable transwoman is typically at a disadvantage in terms of meaningful dating since the majority of men who are interested in her are bisexual. This means transwomen are always competing with ciswomen in this way and they will usually lose. Ciswomen are much easier to date in heteronormative society and you can build a traditional life with them including children.

I believe this is why transwomen are dated in an almost exclusively sexually manner by most men they meet. Ciswomen also have a lot of problems with men who only date them sexually as well, but at least they're also the end goal for most men to settle down with, so they're more often than not able to secure a longterm partner eventually.

I think the only way this truly changes is if society becomes more open to LGBT dating due to incredible weight of the homophobia that comes with any form of same sex relationships regardless of gender. I don't know how to change this. Maybe it will just change over time as awareness spreads.

The majority of men are heterosexual, so the dating pool for transwomen is small to begin with and even the men who would date them have the option to simply date ciswomen as well which again, makes it even more difficult for transwomen to have traditional, committed relationsips. Oh trust me. The dating pool got pee in it. Lol I've always had issues with dating due to being trans. and I think dating is a huge issue for transwomen passsbility or not. As you said for most men the ultimate goal is having a family. However I've been more fortunate than most in that I've been able to have REAL relationships with men as a transwoman.My ex had no desire for children so me being unable to bear any wasn't an issue. My current boyfriend has no desire for children either and has said if that ever changes he's down to adopt. So I think that's one of the main issues a man has to come to terms with when dating a transwomen. That and as you mentioned possibly anti LGBT hatred for being with one. I disagree with you on one thing though. I don't think most of the world is heterosexual. I think most of the world is bisexual and many of the most anti trans/ homophobic people tend to be the type that secretly like what they claim to hate.

You could be right. Society is certainly more queer than we're lead to believe due to homophobia making people suppress that aspect of themselves and it seems to be a trend where some of the people who perpetrate the most homophobia are the ones overcompensating for their own desires.

I still tend to believe that the silent majority of men are truly heterosexual though. I'd like to think that I've developed a somewhat accurate gaydar and I just don't see anything from most men I meet. Not sure about how to read women since they're more sexually fluid and allowed to have bisexual experiences that "don't count" anyway

I have a "gaydar" as well but I would say the gaydar isn't as effective on bisexual men since technically they're not gay they are bisexual.
