Some, the very attractive, self confident and passable girls reap great rewards by being there. But many on the fringe are out of place and don't get enough attention. The fact is that the ladies are there together, they seem to get along and appreciate each other. This makes me think that they should be using Goodhandys as a place to come to terms with the problems that they are having as a whole. I bet the ladies of Goodhandys could be a real power to help each other out, if they collectively put their pretty heads together?
They need leadership and they'll need a few of their current leaders to take charge. Amanda for one is key. But, a good start is to meet regularly to come up with a framework for uniting. Once you do that you can set out to come up with goals and objectives.
I think Lisa could also be helpful at leading such a group. Lucy is like a rock star she's also key. Goodhandy's has brought you together, now take advantage of that opportunity. Right now you tgirls are out there working as a a lot of seperate unorganized entities. To some that reaps a great deal of advantages, but to the group it tends to do little. Some would say that I may be stirring up trouble here. But the real truth is that what I'm saying is fact. Uniting and working together is the best way to resolve problems for everybody.
That's one way to look at it

Oh Lisa! your lucky indeed your away from the maddening scene. I tell you what...Without a nurturing guidance (from parents or elders) most of this girls are going nowhere in life, coz, instead of saving and studying they are hook-up early on the most dreaded hobbies in life (I need not further elaborate). And the young ones you see in a progressive transitioning are doing what? huddle together all the time and party this and party that and racing to be hooked by their partner who are willing to marry them, at the same time willing to share them with hundreds of men.

I'm telling you, I'd rather stay home and watched and take care of the people I love.

And don't envy them I feel sad, because majority of them are losing every opportunity for them to better themselves, most own nothing. (and beauty and being pretty is the only focus they had in mind).

You can only say and do so much. In the end whose business is it really to get involved or comment about another persons life if they choose to live the way they do.

Lisa, I am free to post here , besides you know me by now and that I am not intentionally trying to be rude but rather making sure people come to grips with reality.

I always say I am FAIR and try to explain to everyone that there is always 2 sides to every coin.

What are you afraid of being idealistic, Rantsalot. I guess that leaves nothing to rant about ?

Like I haven't heard that before. Good god what a snarky response after I just explained where I was coming from.

Are you going to retort again in the hopes of riling me up and perhaps cause a thread war? You know nothing of me. i know nothing of you.

I do not wish to goad people or cause fights but rather start logical discussion but it seems that may not happen now because of how you answered me and your view on the matter.

Its really too bad that I can not give and present my tone of voice, body posture and all that when I write. Usually when seeing something on the screen peoples perception is always skewed.

You know what. That's all good. I've said this time and time again about how everyone should look at things from a different angle but some people refuse too or fear too.

No I am not afraid of realism or idealism or abstractionism or even existentialism .etc etc ...

shytom, fine, say whatever you want in return as I will NOT say anything back as I know far to well where this may lead.

ok chill everyone. i value everybodie opinions as if they were my own. i am living in a very mixed place right now and any opinion or comment is sooo valuable to me. if i read them all then perhaps a single sentence might just be the one to help me. reality, fantasy, dreams. they make us all together. TO QUOTE' I HAVE A DREAM'. drams are great it is what pushes us to our limits, makes us brave in the face of adversity. I remember kent state. that was my youth. fight we must for the freedom our fathers and theirs created for us. we cannot give in to slavery of any kind. WE are valuable. WE are the world.

differing opinions help to solidify us. i value every comment.

                        Rants welcome to My thread.

And 8 years from now it is very possible that the next U.S. president could be a woman. But back to another reality, that transgendered could live under one roof and in one big umbrella group, all ethnicities, colors and race joining forces together in this century? well I hope so.

My intent was to say that you can be both realistic and idealistic at the same time, there's nothing wrong with being a bit pessimistic. It's just the little man with the violin emoticon wasn't a very supportive way for you to respond to my post? As Bertrand Russell said:

"Optimism assumes or attempts to prove, that the universe exists to please us, and pessimism that it exists to displease us. Scientifically, there is no evidence that it is concerned with us either one way or the other. The belief in either pessimism or optmism is a matter of temperament, not of reason."

If arguing with you settles things if it help us reach a common understanding of where we're both coming from then it's a good thing. But, if one or both of us is out to brow beat each other in to accepting our way or the highway it serves no purpose then to rile each other up.

I apologize rantsalot if I riled you up. Maybe, my response was a bit snarky. It did not result in a positive response from you, so it served that purpose (snarky that is). I was reacting to your little man playing the violin afterall, which I though was a snarky response to my post. And yes one snarky response does not deserve another.
