I have several times looked at the advertisements for escorts and wondered how on earth some of the lower rates could possibly work out. I'm not in the sex industry, but still the same I work with clients and have to charge for my time and services. So I understand hidden and the obvious cost too. It's impossible to travel, stay overnite, eat and buy gas, much less pay yourself a good amount when only a few hundred dollars is on the table. Besides, I believe you get what you pay for. And I'm not looking to meet someone who is desperate and willing to work cheap.

Well, that’s a risk the SP has to take. Charge $250 an hour, and you my get 1-2 clients, or charge $400 and get 1-2 clients. At $250 an hour your chances increase significantly at getting clients. However, there’s too many variables involved like the SPs looks, service, location etc.

Also, this is the sex industry. It’s not the same as professional work. This is non regulated, non taxable, non insured etc. And paying more certainly doesn’t guarantee better service. That’s a huge myth.

Work is work, regardless if you work in an office, from home, or entertaining clients…. And working in a non-taxable environment means you’re potentially earning even more for your efforts than an office worker…. Sweet! 💵 💵

I’m all for the ladies charging whatever they want/can. When there is more demand than supply, that’s how a market works.. If I can’t afford it, I don’t complain, I just don’t engage those services…

Same here. I’m all for the SPs to make as much money as possible. I’ve always said that. It’s up to the provider to figure out where they fit for price range. It’s very clear that some of them can make $4-500, then there are others who price themselves out. One thing is for certain, is I’d rather receive shit service for $200, than $400, if that makes sense. 😆

There are so many hidden costs that come along with this line of work. I’m definitely not the person to comment on the state of service-providers as a whole, but even with my limited experience I can see this is a dying industry.

For the domme/top girls this is an entirely different story. I am not fully functional and that right there limits my clientele, but I am just not wired to be a top. There will for sure be providers who excel, but for me I am at the point where I will likely take down my ad, and focus on seeing a handful of existing clients instead.

I actually really enjoyed meeting some cool people through this, but there are so many flakes and time wasters that I’m better off returning to the blue-collar field 😭
