Anyone remember Ms Honey Dijon? She was a real favourite of mine back when i was part of the TO underground scene.

One of the most memorable sets I have experienced was Danny Tenaglia at Industry...I think he spun for close to 8 hours.

lol! i was there last night of industry! it was memorable nothing has come close to the enrgy felt that night! or any other night at Industry. I live across the street now from that legendary spot i occasionaly do my shopping in the shoppers drug mart and as i stroll down the aisles i can almost hear the beats! ahhh the memories were good! xxx alyssa

Industry is the only place I miss from the old scene. Industry was all about the music. After Industry it was never the same for me.

Some of the other old haunts I used to frequent: Comfort Zone, Web, XIT to Eden, Orange Room, Bassmint. Heard some crazy DJ's in those places.

really really really cool i dabble with recording software and use torq to expand to what pro tools cant do, and use other programs like live to add.. to what both of those cant do -.- and as far as vinyls idk, to hard.. lets see what else

oh yeah alyssa, i just have a little question ive neevr asked anyone just wondered about it but could u briefly explain... how dj's keep everything in time? and where do all the samples come from ? like do they make them before they do live stuff idk nvm i sound so dumb

alot of it has to do with trained sound(musical background) and really understanding the amount of bpms and so forth. i use to use torq which is alot easier than serrato interface. Serrato needs more skill but u can do more with adding a trigger finger for on que samples ,beats. also serrato u can run about 6 or 7 different loops with abouyt 4 channels on the s3....so if u do the math u can have endless samples ready to go for the night or load them in,im sure you know some of us have ableton software as well to do alot of live stuff. i keep it simple i bring cds for back up 2 vinyl contrl 2 cdj controllers and my laptop. Sorry i got a little to geeky xxx

what do you use for a mixer?


I run straight wax, my digital sampler is my left hand and quick use of a vestax mixer...

CD's are cool , but I like to get real technical and don't like the idea of not being able to touch the records...

Oh and you look kinda like Lily allen with that hair cut...
