Nina Arsenault's "The Silicone Diaries"

Well, I just got back from Buddies in Bad Times Theater where I just saw Nina Arsenault's play "The Silicone Diaires". My only real experience with live theater involves poles and scantily clad women. It was touching, funny and poignant. She covers a bit of her history and the things that she has gone through in her transformation. I now know what it means when a tgirl says "That's fishy!". It is really scary about some of the surgeries that these girls go through and some are illegal in this country. There's a point in the play where she removes her wig and reveals what is underneath...but you have to go see it for the answer. Also there is the funny story of when she met Tommy Lee of Motley Crew. Overall is was a good experience but there was one problem. I couldn't find a seat and had to stand for the entire performance. Boy does my back hurt! I wonder if Nina would compensate me with a back massage? I believe that is only running until November 21.

I remember Nina from the "Kink" series, I thought she stole the show. How does she look now? Is she post-op?

Before anyone says it.....I realize this is an old thread.....but Nina Arsenault was on CP24 a couple of weeks ago on their show "Sex Matters". Aside from being very pretty, she has an amazing intellect and wit. She did herself proud and I was very, very impressed.

Funny I went to York U and don't remember her/him at all. I have read may articles on her and have seen this many time. For her to have been a professor she would have to been one of the youngest prof's there - thus many articles and information. She may have been a TA ??

Don't take this wrong, I think she is great and has really been a pop icon in Toronto. She has appeared in many TV shows as well has been at many events. I remember seeing her when Tommy Lee was in Town and the Supper Club.

I just think it's odd that York U has not put out an article confirming this.

First off, I never said anything about her being an escort ? She is very intelligent, I never said she wasn't. I have had many conversations with her over the years and find her very interesting.

I was only questioning, did she go to York U or U of T. Was she/he actually a professor or a TA.

If a "working girl" has a degree, that is great for them. I've got one as well, it's been in the bottom of my draw for the past 5yrs. It hasn't done me alot of good
