Multiple ads

O.k. I've been somewhat on the fence with this topic. It kind of baffles me at times how when seeing a remark on a website about a girl and their availability and then to see something in print about the same girl can be so different.

Example: A girl online posts an ad stating her name, when shes available and her donation. Then in contrast you see a photo ad in a newspaper of the same girl, different availabilty times and a different donation.

Consider that these ads were also run the same day.

Am I missing something here? Why state something in one area and not the other?

Sub question:

Why is it as well that some girls ask WHERE you saw their ad? Is any one website really more lucrative than another let alone newspapers/tabloids?

The medium is the message.

I can not answer the first question, but for the second, I think they want to know which ads are working. If they are paying for them, they probably want to know which one is paying off. I find that true with your regular businesses too because they tend to advertise in many different mediums or publications. If one medium is not getting them customers, they will drop out of it to save money.

For me i have 3 ads goin on right now. i ask because....

SHEMALECANADA. most of the men are not fakers. They know what they want. And can pay full donations. And i expect most of them to come & they do come.

CL: men asks too many questions even if the question they are askings, all the answers i already put in my ad (annoying). I must say. a few of them cant handle donations, and a few are fakers. But few can always make it. I expect Cl men.. mostly in the morning. Either before work... or....lunch say around 11.

NOW MAGAZINE ONLINE: FAKERS, SKETCHY IN THE PHONE! ASK TOO MANY STUPID QUESTIONS. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!. and let me say CHEAP AGAIN. LOL 1 out of 4 can pay.

and as for newspapers/magazines (EYE WEEKLY)... i only posted once when i first start this business in May 2009. Alot of response for a new girl, but too expensive for most of them. Never been back.....but my ts friend told me Winter is slow here in toronto. so i might add it back...we shall see... or i might even hibernate like a bear and never come back LOL

Surprisingly that isn't the first time I've heard about craigslist having a stranger client?le as opposed to others who visit shemale canada , redzone et al.

It still doesn't make a whole lot of sense though. People with the net who are searching to have company with a t girl would in time find all these websites mentioned and more. So why the mood shift from Craigslist?

hmmmm i had a guy email me making an appointment on saturday so i said call me when your on your way,so he called about 50 times with a blocked number and i didnt answer so i checked my email that night and he was pissed but who gives a fuck i have it posted on my site no blocked calls what part of that phrase cant you people understand?

Not simple

Personally, I don't waver from my rates. It is always the same. However, as was stated above, there seem to be different rate expectations from clients who check with certain websites as opposed to others. For example, if a client checks yellow pages or the Sun, he is likely prepared to cover the rate I request. Then there are a host of websites that cater to a different clientele and these span the range from: "OK I'll pay you what you ask" to: "I only have $50.00, can I come see you anyway?".
Craigslist is at the lower end of it all. I don't know why, but many clients calling from craigslist are really cheap. Perhaps that is because they have become accustomed to very low rates because that is what is charged by the girls who advertise on there. It's a chicken and egg question at this point.

So I want to know right away - where did you see my ad. So I know if they are just playing with me, if that ad is working for me, and so I can make a guess as to whether this is a cheap client or not. I can understand why some girls might actually charge less when they advertise on craigslist in an effort to garner a slice of that pie rather than lose the client. However, I honestly think that this encourages clients to ask for less in the first place which further depresses the market. I think this is counter-productive in the medium to long term. My advice is to hold your rates as a representation of your worth, of your value. Then stick to it regardless of what some cheap guy wants to pay you. If you buy a car, will the salesman lower the cost just because you tell him you are only able to pay half the amount? I think not. What about a restauraunt. If you say you only can pay half the bill, what do you think the response will be? No, these people have set their rates and they stick to them. The rate is a representation of their estimation of worth for the service or product. As a client, you must shop whithin your means.
