The time our family still spent together at this joyous celebration


There's no greater joy than spending this joyous occasion with our love ones. All year long, each one of us struggle to make our day to day living, with our individual family (for those who are married and children), and to those who are still in schools and to those who needs to be working miles away from their original residences.

In a span of 5 years we've lost 3 family members; First, Grandma, whose fruit cake every Christmas time never failed to make our mouth watered, then Dad, who, most time of the year feels cranky (due to a lingering ailment) but never ceased to amazed us at how jolly he seems to be every Yuletide season, seeing everyone is around, it's like his Alzheimer's always take the back seat and temporarily forgetting that soon everything will be forgotten. And the latest, my big Brother, who always livened up the party with his unending jokes and antics that alleviate all the joint pains that some elders suffers during the cold and chilly weather. Now, even if they're all gone, our Christmas is still celebrated, filled with so much memories, and us who are still here would never let commercialism, un-necessary luxury, materialism, self satisfactions to ebbed the flame of love in our hearts, the true meaning of Christmas; To be with all we love in this world...To be with Family.
